Rosie's "View" Review: Too Bad It's Beige

Click to return to TMZ.comRosie O'Donnell and her two JaHeRo video blog pals, Janette Barber and Helene Macaulay (who worked with Rosie on "The View"), dished the show's debut episode. What did the trio think? "It was very beige," said Macaulay, adding, "I meant that metaphorically, as well."

"Nah, it was all right. It was good," said O'Donnell, who had high praise for her replacement, Whoopi Goldberg. "Whoopi was good. It was okay." O'Donnell took issue with the bland set design. "Why did they change the set back to beige? That was an error in judgment."

JaHeRo answered dozens of fan questions. Asked whether she felt sad while watching "The View," Rosie said, "No I wasn't sad. I thought It was interesting to watch. I was sad that the set was beige. Truthfully, it's just wrong."

77. To all you pathetic Rosie trash talkers - if you hate her so much, please explain why on earth you would click on a link to a story about her? Are you the morons who go onto HER personal blog to hurl tasteless, and not even marginally amusing, insults to see if she will post them, which she does way too often for the millions of us out there who adore her, and beg her daily not to.

I'm a straight, 54 year old grandma who has followered her from the first day of her phenomanonally, and unprecidented, I might add, successfull talk show. I started watching The View the day it was announced Rosie was ASKED to join the show, and deleted it from my recorder the day after the split-screen debacle that made her decide to LEAVE THE SHOW A WEEK EARLY. It's a matter of public record, idiots - Google it. While you're at it, Google the ratings and see if they've come anywhere near what they were in the nine months Rosie was the moderator.

I've always liked Whoopie, but didn't get around to watching these past two days; from what I'm reading, I haven't missed much. I mught consider watching it when the blonde bimbo goes on maternity leave. The collective IQ of the panel will rise significantly.

I missed Tuesday show but I did tivo today's show and the first thing out of my mouth was that set was too beige and at certain angles it was almost gold and the camera view from the side did not look any better. W don't like to see them from a side. This show is going down, Even the mugs were gold/yellow coloured, I was thinking that
Barbwa did not want to take a chance of putting mugs on the mugs but I guess we
will find out when we see who the 5th co-host is going to be. I hope it it Kathy Griffin,
or Sherri Sherpard. Maybe it is that woman I don't recall her full name Rea or Rhea.

They all kind of looked washed out with that background, I could see Joy's hair more.
Miss haughty taughty with her orange tan blended in really well, now if they can mute
everything she says we will all feel like she is not there. That will be great. Anyway She's gor to know by know that she is not liked much by many people.

82. I used to love rosie. she was funny, sharp and personable. However, over time she has become a very bitter and hateful woman. She is incapable of accepting another persons opinion objectively. She is loud, crass, rude and thoughtless. She has demonized an entire segment of the American Population because they dare to have a different political perspective. She demands that you listen to her and accept her words without question, while denying others the same right.
She was in a position, where she could have been Great..... Instead she failed miserably.

it is Rosies inability to accept other peoples right to there opinion that turns me off most. Similar to the posts who say that other people should not post their opinions, unless you are a blind Rosie worshiping follower.

Love all the comments spitting venom about others talking negative about Rosie, and then a sentence or two later they let loose with even worse about Hasselbeck. Your witty banter and pithy retorts must leave Britney and Paris thinking they will be nominated for Nobel prizes.
