Click to return to TMZ.comDespite canceling her North American tour, Britwreck Amy Winehouse isn't giving up performing -- she unexpectedly popped up at the Mercury Music awards in London last night.

Winehouse, who had been "holidaying" with her hubby in St. Lucia instead of going to rehab, performed an acoustic version of "Love Is a Losing Game" before losing out on the top prize to the Klaxons -- and it was amazing.

She should've gotten a prize just for showing up.

I happen to really like Amy, and think that she has an amazing voice. I read blogs like TMZ & Perez Hilton because it's a form of entertainment...ripping people apart, writing whatever is on my mind, wishing people well, etc...whatever!
No, I don't have any pictures of famous people on my walls...haha, maybe when I was 12! I do listen to her music because I like it. I don't write things on here because I think that the people who I'm commenting on read it...no one knows who I am anyhow!
I do wish Amy well. And I'd like for her to put out more music - I'd actually pay to see her in concert. Not many singers or bands out there that I'd actually pay to see.
So, Amy, if you're reading this please stop doing drugs and record more music...and call me, let's hang out and we'll be the best of friends... :)

I love it when paranoid 12 year old gum snapping blondes post on TMZ. Another hit or two and I wonder what else you'll "see" invading and crawling out of your magical picture machine connected to that computer box thingy.

Maybe if your precious little Amy didn't do heroin with skanky prostitutes and get into bloody knock down brawls with her husband . . . . and then ramble some incoherent excuse, just MAYBE people wouldn't be trashing her.

As for any comparisons with Britney and Paris, at the moment Amy isn't even worthy of holding the toilet paper for those two twits. Which is a shame given that Amy's singing career appears to be completely up in flames and she could use a job to keep her dealer from walking.
