48. Let me first begin by saying that I too was very disappointed with the M. Vick situation for a multitude of reasons. Yes it is barbaric, ignorant, and utterly ridiculous thing to engage in regardless of what your culture dictates. But once we get beyond that (which we must at some point) we are faced with the very human question of does a person deserved to be forgiven. What infuriates me about people in general is how quickly we condemn others to extreme punishments when I can guarantee that behind closed doors we have all done something that we would not want blasted on websites such as this. I know in this country we are overly obsessed with celebrities (which have replaced our former day heroes like Martin Luther King, JFK, and such) but we must remember that these people are not GODS, they are people. And yes, to all the harsh critics out there, they too make mistakes. The whole Jamie Foxx thing was most likely him having a bad day. Can he not be forgiven for that either? Instead of idolizing these PEOPLE you should all empathize with the enormous amount of scrutiny that they deal with. You can’t even scratch your ass in public without it becoming a headline. LETS WAKE UP AMERICA!!!! I don’t think they are worried about Jamie in Iraq right now. Instead they are busy concerned about suicide bombers getting their children on the way to school. Think about it…
