Judge Slams Foxy's Apology -- Ill Waah Waah

The walking tornado known as Foxy Brown caused a serious storm in court this morning, with defense lawyers begging to quit, with cops and witnesses from all over the tri-state area convening for the hearing.

Foxy's in Manhattan Criminal Court so the judge can determine how long she should spend in the slammer after violating her probation stemming from an assault on a manicurist in 2004, including an alleged attack in Brooklyn and a traffic violation in New Jersey. A source in the courtroom said Foxy was offered a nine-month sentence, but she hasn't taken it yet. Her new defense lawyer, we're told, has been trying to get her to take the deal -- but not before she tried to get taken off the case. Judge Jackson is making her and another lawyer, Alan Stutman, stick with Foxy.

The rapperista has seemed contrite, we're told, dressed conservatively in a gray suit and handcuffs. She read a statement of apology to the court, but the judge, said a source, smacked it down, saying it was, "Too little, too late." At one point, Foxy turned to her mother sitting behind her and mouthed the words, "I love you."

Court has been adjourned for lunch, but after the break, cops from New Jersey are being brought in to testify about her traffic violation there last month, and her probation officer will also be questioned.

Story developing ...

16. She keeps doing the same thing over and over. Naomi Campbell is black and she got community service, I think most people would like to see all these spoiled "celebrities" do more time and actually do a lesson. Don't make her a martyr because of her race. The people she beat up probably want her to learn her lesson. Society has to have rules for everyone to abide.

19. Why is this foxy person so combative and unable to deal with average situations without violence or abusive verbal confrontation?
Her attorneys all clamoring to be let off her case is destructive and don't make her look so good in front of the judge .
Either she has a mental disorder or major drug abuse issues.
Just a guess of course, thank goodness I don't know her to know for sure.

20. if black people are outraged by this, and think shes not getting the right publicity, then do something about it. respect yourselves, and your race, and stand up and be responsible citizens. these allogations are a result of her actions. lohan and paris didnt get off because theyre white, they got off because theyre rich and famous. and foxy will too, if that was a regular person, theyd be talkin much more time.

I just htink its time that black people to quit blaming everyone and everything. its not a white persons fault shes in trouble. be responsible for yourself. you want the world to start looking at your race differently??? then act differently. look how youre race reacted to the duke lacrosse players scandel. youre race was out for heads. and ass oon as a black guy gets the same treatment, youre race gets upset, plus the guy even admits to it, and youre race still defends what he did. oh its because hes black... right.

22. ....some people never get it right! Throw some money and position in to boot and you got yourself a real motherhumper. Jail WILL change your whole prospective. A stranger will tell you how much liberty they are taking from you, a stranger will sleep in the same room with you, a stranger will tell you when to get up and go to sleep, you won't have access to those fabulous necessities you enjoy so much. And all because you had no self control, and thought it was all about YOU...9 MONTHS will be long enough to take that stinking thinking and flush it down the toilet, and then if you make a comeback America will see "YOUR NEW ATTITUDE"

23. I agree with the Judge too little too late... However I think after she services her time in jail where she certainly belongs. He needs to ordered to get professional help when she out, you don't need to be a doctor to know this girl is sick.

25. #7 Jonas Hansenyou said: "Yes, she is colored and she is done
for".
and
"This sends a clear message: If you are colored don't bother to
make a career. You will end up in jail anyway".

What kind of defeatest thinking is dominating your mind about "colored" people? I have yet
to see Foxy Brown portrayed in a flattering manner. Granted, I just started seeing her in the media sometimes this year, but evey time I see her she is in the news for something deviant.

This story is about the softest I have seen reported on her with her telling her
mother she loved her. Now that is what I like. Not her hitting people with objects. It is the behavior that she has displayed that makes others look bad.I would like to start seeing some soft, sweet, loving behavior from some of these "colored" people you refer to.

I hate to see anyone go to jail, but what about her making a change so that we can love her on better qualities rather than because of the group she belongs to.

I don't know if this "sends a clear message" (as you put it) to a group of people, as she has gotten off a number of times. Maybe it sends a message that if you don't start acting sweet and loving this is what will happen.

I am not one of her fans and do not know her history, but for someone who happen to see her pop up in the media with these kinds of problems, it doesn't make her very likeable. Thus, it does not seem like it would make the judge have that much sympathy for her.

Hope she resolves her anger problems and show better qualities.

26. Wow.this is really a shame. There are other people that are in the court system right now that are still walking the streets that have done worse than her,and they still are continuing to do what they want when they want.Where's the justice. What's good for one is good for all.Stop it with the Out and Out Racism.Just cause she's black there trying to say she's a menence.Yeah right. Whatever. At least she's not putting babies in danger, doing drugs or slamming cars into trees,or GOD forbid whatever else that these people are doing that are not getting anywhere near what they are trying to do to her.Keep your head up Foxy Brown
