95. Unfortunately it looked like Britney's nerves won the day. You could actually see her trembling, and it was obvious that she was so flustered that she nearly forgot her steps. I felt badly for her. It might have been wiser to have poured a couple of drinks in her to loosen her up. But still, I was hoping she would sing her new single rather than lip sync it. Better luck next time, Brit.

97. Sarah Silverman doesn't merit any support at all after her performance tonight. Standup comics are notorious for using audience members and famous people as part of their routine. Sarah went beyond that when she made disparaging comments about Britney's young children. To attempt to invoke laughter at the expense of innocent children was absolutely deplorable.

And to all of you who are writing that Britney should be home with her kids: Who says women can't have children and work? What is all this 1950s mindset about Britney needing to stay home with her children for heaven's sake? Some of us worked very hard in the 60s and 70s to create an environment where a woman could have children And a career - and we're not about to let judgmental prudish behavior take us back to the days of June Cleaver. We still try to support young artists and career women. While we may have come a long way, Baby, it's obvious from reading a few of the comments that we still have a long way to go.

Britney has made a Lot of mistakes. Who hasn't? I wouldn't have wanted every minute of my young life scrutinized by the paps. I think the least we can do is show a little human compassion.
