91. This useless excuse for a performer needs to take a lessn from the late Johnny Carson. He made it a practice not to deliver the "low blow", which included ridiculing spouses and chldren of the public person included in his humor.

No excuse for saying those things about children--and shame on the show for allowing it. I wish I know who sponsored this type of trash so I could avoid buying their products.

It's quite possible that Jimmy and Sarah are nice people IRL Without attacking her personally I can honestly say that listening to the awful things she says in the name of comedy makes me feel bad, not good. Sure, some of the things are funny but some of the things are just down right full of hate. Comedy is supposed to make us laugh not sick to our stomaches. I would feel better about her personally if I knew someone else was writing the stuff for her. Either way.....I won't be watching.

94. She's a comedian. Get over it! My brother has downs syndrome, but I don't send hate mail to every comedian who says the word "retard," or makes fun of people that are mentally handicapped. I don't get offended when black comdeians tell "white" jokes. I don't get offended when someone tells me a Polish joke.

If you all have such an issue with her stand up act there's a simple solution TURN THE CHANNEL! I also suggest you start picketing every comedy club across the country... 98. Who the hell is Hayden Panettiera? Never heard of her before. Saw Sarah Silverman in a comedy club one time. She was a slimy mess and no one laughed at her feeble attempts at being funny. Hollywood types must really be delusional to think they are interesting and important. Most of them are uneducated dimwits who think they are so smart. They continually make asses of themselves, but Silverman really won the prize for "Boob of the Year" with her nasty appearance the other night on the VMA's.

103. Malissa #101....I think there is a HUGE difference between calling someone a retard or using the term retarted and calling children a mistake. To call someone a retard is not singling out two innocent children, it is a stupid term people use loosely. To call children a mistake, thats a mistake. Calling it tasteless is putting it mildly. Thats downright sick, and I think Sarah Silverman should make a public apology on CNN. She seriously made a FOOL of herself. Notice NO ONE was laughing throughout most of her performance. Putting aside the fact she is simply not funny, the jokes she made are places you dont go. I get comedians make jokes at others expense, thats the game, but that comment should have never been made, nor should I have to change the channel. I can deal with watching something I think is crude and dont like, but MTV is seriously wrong for ever letting that go down. Sarah is gross, and I hope people see that.
