Matthew McConaughey -- Jerk in a Shirt

A female fan waited more than two hours to take a picture with chesty Matthew McConaughey last night -- and he rewarded her patience by quickly blowing her off! Sorry, lady ... he's not for you!

TMZ cameras caught the pony-tailed, toothpick-chewin' hunk leaving Nobu, where a lone fan politely asked for a photo with him. Matt told her, "Not right now," and hopped into his car.

Feeling the burn of the diss, the fan vented to TMZ, calling him a "jerk" and adding, "It wasn't cool, it would have taken two seconds to take a picture ... not even an autograph!"

16. Matthew McConaughey should take some advise from Dr. Dani, re: who pays his Nobu bill. He should also be worried that there was a 'lone fan' waiting for his ass. If you're reduced to a fanbase of one, you should rethink your career options anyway, imho.

17. COMMENTS 4 & 7: For being a doctor or a lawyer, if you're going to use a word, know how to spell it. The correct spelling is "advice" NOT advise. But, yeah, sure you're a doctor, sure you're a lawyer. Just like I'm a Jeannie in a bottle.

18. Give him a break. He was out with his little hottie boy in the plaid shirt. He didn't want to be bothered with that crap.

21. What is this? We pay his mortgage so he owes us something? Come off it... MY HUSBAND pays the mortgage because of his own merits. I do not credit his "boss" for the life that my husband provides his family. You people make it sound as though he is in debt for a fan paying a ticket to see a movie. In that case, he needs to take all pictures requested, do all autographs, and send each patron who watched his movie a personal thank you note. It is the consumer's choice to pay for a ticket. It is not his responsibility to reward you for it. The movie should be reward enough.

24. Why would you waste two hours of your life standing outside a restaurant (that won't let you in) on the off chance that you get to take a picture with someone famous?
What did she think? He'd see her pathetically waiting for him and suddenly he would fall madly in love with her and decide that she's the woman he wants to spend the rest of his life with? GET A LIFE, Loser.

He doesn't owe anybody anything.

26. What a jerk. He snubbed her because she wasn't "hot". I'm sure if she was some 21 year old model he would have stopped and made time to take a pic and/or autograph.

27. Re: All of the "we pay his bills" nonsense. Pulllease.

He entertains us (or some of us) and we pay to see him do that. That's where the relationship begins and ends. If we're not entertained, we don't pay. Anything he or other celebrities do above and beyond what they're PAID to do, is just a perk. We don't own them.

28. People really need a life. The guy was out for dinner. Maybe he had a bad day. Just because he's famous doesn't mean issues don't bother him. Besides he seems like a real person. He just wants to hang out at the beach and chill. He doesn't have to be having his picture taken all the time or acting like a goof and getting into trouble...bad exposure. I agree with KTee.

29. COMMENT #12: How do you know he didn't have to be somewhere else? Just because the photographers weren't out there hounding him makes no difference. He has a right to a private life and a peaceful, quiet, uninterrupted dinner out. This gal waits two hours to get his photograph with her?! She needs to get a life and get over herself. He wasn't rude, he was living his life. As far as his fans paying his mortgage, how do you know he even has a mortgage? That's like saying your employer should be able to interrupt you whenever he/she pleases, day or night, because he/she's paying your mortgage or rent and everything else you have. Actors & actresses EARN their money, dear, just like us regular folks.

30. what makes people think that they are "owed" something by these people.
They aren't and shouldn't get bent out of shape when someone has something better to do than stop and give an autograph or pose for a pic.
Only a loser to stand and wait for two hours for a pic or autograph
