Ty Pennington Sued Over ADHD

"Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" host Ty Pennington is being sued by a woman who claims that Ty took over her art gallery and fired her. Move that bust!

According to a lawsuit filed yesterday in Los Angeles Superior Court, Melissa Ross claims she opened an art gallery in 2004 called The Jaxon House. Ross alleges that last July, Pennington and his wife/manager, Andrea Bock, approached her about developing a line of furniture to display in the gallery, while still exhibiting traditional art.

Ross alleges that she entered into an agreement with Pennington and Bock, but Pennington was left out of the paperwork for fear it would interfere with his Sears deal -- where Ty has a low-end furniture line. The company, known as Jaxon, launched a line of furniture called ADHD (Art Design Home Decor). Ironically enough, Pennington actually suffers from ADHD (attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder). Go figure!

Shortly after the company was formed, Ross claims that Pennington muscled her out and that "only his designs were to be displayed" at the gallery. Ross is now asking the court for nearly $4,000,000 in damages -- that's a lot of end tables!

Pennington's rep tells TMZ, "Anyone with $320 can file a lawsuit -- even a nuisance suit like this one. This suit has no merit."

151. He actually closed the store over this lawsuit.....That doesn't seem guilty at all. What did it say in the window...."why start one project when you can almost finish three" That's even funnier now!

154. Personally Ty will win in my mind . He has already been to court once this year and now that he has drea he has someone to help him. also ty has money and he will probally at the least have to pay a small fine.

155. I know the parties involved in this suite. People want to sling mud, call people nasty names and point fingers. Unfortunately in our society litigation has its place and has been and will continue to be abused. However, that being said, there are cases with merrit. THIS IS ONE OF THOSE CASES. I have been hearing about this for over a year now. It is what it is. Ty and Drea simple made mistakes that have to be accounted for. Celebrity has its price and perks. It does not give you the right to use your image and power to manipulate and take advantage of others. Ty is having a boat load of problems right now and this trian will indeed reck. Ty does not have a squeeky clean past that his handlers would like promote. In fact, if you have noticed lately there are some disturbing issues about the man that are coming to light.
All in all, I put my money on Ross. My last red American cent! Wait and find out what is going to happen, the next thing you know... TMZ, ET and all the other shows will be showing you the dirt this Ty has been sweeping under a forgetful rug. True colors will fly and when it rains.... it will POUR. If he was half smart, he would settle this thin yesterday.
Lets see if he wants to or if he wants to be the actor and play the role of the one who is wronged.... If I saw him walking down the street it would be a sad day for his make up artist.... talk about job security. LMAO What a chump. What a total two faced loser poser Ahole. Just wait... stay tooned... same bat channle, same bat time.... he is gonna go down in flames.

156. Ty does a wonderful job on Extreme Makeover and the show just would not be the same without him. As for the person commenting on the fact that the really needy are left out, I clearly remember a double episode where the team helped some of the victims of Hurricaine Katrina and also Hurricaine Rita! Get a life - if you don't like the program choose another channel - it's not like there aren't a lot of them?!
Obviously if there were no viewers the TV company would not be able to fork out the money for these makeovers and whilst they cost a lot to do don't forget people like Sears get free advertising so are happy to donate for free as are many of the other firms involved! Just be thankful that many needy people are helped - they can't help everyone and have to choose the most deserving, that's a job I'd hate because to make that choice can't be easy!
Ty's DUI has made more headlines than that of a Supreme Court Justice who has recently been shown on one of these clip shows with footage from the cop cars - I'd be more worried about the judge's hypocrisy and bold lying when pissed than Ty's!!
As for Ty's being sued by this buisness woman - she herself said his name was not on the contract and if his name's not on the contract she should be suing the person who's name is instead of trying Ty by media instead of by facts!!

157. Lin your comment #116 shows your total ignorance - adult ADHD is very real and I know someone who suffers from it, it's no joke! Just because you haven't heard of it doesn't mean it doesn't exist - personally I think you should spend less time on web blogs and more on getting an education ! Of course if you've spent 7 years or more training to be a doctor and have been involved in the studies concerning ADHD then you probably feel you have a right to comment and I apologise - no? then perhaps you'll leave it to the experts! ADHD has been around for many years but not always known as ADHD.

159. Regarding this incident I agree with Standup sounds like she is looking to gain exposure for her gallery at Ty's expense. As for his sexual prefence who really cares thats his private life so stay the bleep out of it !As for the ADHD thats something i never knew. More power to him.
