Ty Pennington Sued Over ADHD

"Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" host Ty Pennington is being sued by a woman who claims that Ty took over her art gallery and fired her. Move that bust!

According to a lawsuit filed yesterday in Los Angeles Superior Court, Melissa Ross claims she opened an art gallery in 2004 called The Jaxon House. Ross alleges that last July, Pennington and his wife/manager, Andrea Bock, approached her about developing a line of furniture to display in the gallery, while still exhibiting traditional art.

Ross alleges that she entered into an agreement with Pennington and Bock, but Pennington was left out of the paperwork for fear it would interfere with his Sears deal -- where Ty has a low-end furniture line. The company, known as Jaxon, launched a line of furniture called ADHD (Art Design Home Decor). Ironically enough, Pennington actually suffers from ADHD (attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder). Go figure!

Shortly after the company was formed, Ross claims that Pennington muscled her out and that "only his designs were to be displayed" at the gallery. Ross is now asking the court for nearly $4,000,000 in damages -- that's a lot of end tables!

Pennington's rep tells TMZ, "Anyone with $320 can file a lawsuit -- even a nuisance suit like this one. This suit has no merit."

16. I think comment number 13 needs to learn how to read. Check out the lawsuit! It was Pennington himself who name the furniture line adhd. I think he's making fun of his own disease. And just because the show he happens to host does great things for people doesn't mean he's a great guy, he just has great job.

18. celebreties always have some shadyness they can't lets let tmz expose them for what their worth i used to date a girl who worked for a dermatoligist in beverly hills you would be surprised of the movie stars who refuse to pay for work that was done!

19. I thought I was the only one out there who didn't care for Mr. Pennington.

I thinking helping other people is great, but I got tired of that singular theme. Also, while Mr. Pennington may have ADHD, I still found him annoying, right along with his crew.

20. Ty is awesome ! Gay ???? I think not, but if so, does it really matter ? I'm all but sure a few on the design team are , but they still do great work and help families in need.

23. Ty is not married. He has been with Drea for a lot of years. Ty is not gay. For those of you that don't know him should not make assumptions. It frustrates me when people make hurtful comments about him. We all have bad days & we all get rude w/ people. I get rude w/ some of my customers that don't speak English. But because I'm not famous, my rudeness does not get written about on gossip sites. People, walk a day in this man's shoes. Stop being so judgmental. Stop being so jealous of other people's success. Because that is what it really boils down to. Jealousy. Remember Karma is a bitch. You get back 10 x's what you put out. (By the way. Has anyone remembered that today is 9/11? We should be remembering our troops and praying for their safe return. Instead of spewing hate about one of our own.) Ty, I know you're a good man. Drea, you've been very kind. 25. I hope it is not true. I think he tried to hard to be a comedian on 'Trading Spaces' but he was cute and not funny. I was happy for him when he landed "Extreme Makeover'
but was really upset when he DROVE under the influence. I think drunk drivers are asses that needs to be punished to the maximum sentences allowed by law.

Looks like Sears had no problem with it but Kathy Griffin makes one comment in her speach and the whole world is ready to lynch her. I think her speech was not intended as
it sounded.

Now if he did force this woman out that will be just one more jerk on the list of jerks that
are famous. (We have a lot that are not famous). but we are talking about the ones who
entertain the world and endorse products that we buy because we have faith in them to
sell good products. Why couldn't he get his own store to rent? The amount this woman
is asking for sounds really ridiculous though!

Why did they go into business with this lady in the first place?
Why not open their own shop ? Anyone with a few thou can sign a lease.
