19. Wow, Beyonce and Kelly really have it together - what a nice thing for them to do. I don't agree that it's a hand out, it looks to me like a hand up where people can pay rent, have a roof over their heads, develop a routine, have somebody who believes in them (Beyonce and Kelly no less!).

I have to wonder whether Oprah's been been 'counselling' them, not that that's a bad thing . . . what better role model is there than Oprah? But honestly, this project has Oprah written all over it . ..

28. This is such positive, wonderful news. But there are celebrites like these girls who have been doing great deeds such as this for years -- but shy away from media attention about their work with good causes. (Talk about character!) I only wish we could hear more stories like these.

29. Beyonce does a lot for Houston - she already has some kind of charity in the Inner Loop, it's a big building off I-45 by the Medical center. And she has participated in many food drives with the pastor of her church. She is a Houstonian we are very proud of!
