"Idol" Judges to Britney: We Want You!

"American Idol" judges Simon, Randy and Paula believe they have what it takes to bring back Britney's career.
Idol Judges to Bring Back Britney
In an announcement to FOX News, Simon Cowell says that, among other things, getting her "away from her stupid friends" will help revive her career.

"MTV ratings are up and all we're hearing is Britney, Britney, Britney!" Simon said. "She can turn it around." Could this bring Britney's career back from its Las Vegas grave?

It is unclear whether they want Britney to be a guest star or a contestant.

31. Yeah, that's a great idea. Team Britney up with Paula Abdul as her mentor. Rename the show "American Trainwreck". Paula can teach Britney the secret to getting away with this sort of behavior for decades.

32. I'm glad that the industry IS standing up for her and sees all of the potential that she still has. Kudos to American Idol. Britney, take everyone who is willing to get you back to SUPER DUPER STARDOM up on their offer. EVERYONE wants you back! You've already come a long way - keep on truckin'! We love you and want want to see you back on top where you belong!!! Can't wait for the album to come out!!

33. She needs a breaak. Every mistake she makes is reported on! That can't be easy. She needs to walk away and regain control of her life. That means REHAB. Getting out of the spotlight and focusing on a REAL life will help her.

34. #27. Unless you've had two kids in two years and have been dealing with all the crap that she has been dealing with, shut up.

35. Britney ~ if you read TMZ, I say, "GO FOR IT!" But before you do, relax and clear your head of all the crap salad everyone has been feeding your brain! We all screw up and we all recover and it's human nature to pick on the runt of the moment - but runts usually grow up stronger than the piggy ones.

36. "Two bags, #27, - As a mother of 4, I agree 100%, She's just too lazy, piggish, and drunk, to do what she should have done a year ago. She's niothing but a pudgy, sloppy, lush, who won't even stop for her children. I wonder (NOT) where her priorities are?!

37. Hey, Cher had two babies, dealt with unhappy marriages, & she always had rock hard abs & always had smash hits on the charts longer than anyone.

So, I'm cutting no slack for Brit Brit.

38. This idea is so excellnt. I think the shows ratings would go through the roof beacuse everyone would love an up close look at the crazyy one.
Getting her to actualy show up for work might be hard
She seems very excentrick.
Just promise her that you well have her favorite drinks on hand and she can booz e it up on air as much as she likes.
I never whatched idol befor but I would if Brittney were on it,

39. Don't you have to sing live on AI, no lip-synching? What the hell is Simon thinking? If Britney sang live, she would never make it pass the first round on AI. Seriously, Sanjaya has more vocal ability than Ms. Spears.

40. "jack54", - HAAAAAAHAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!, - GET REAL. Three (3) does NOT an "industry" make. HAAAAAAAAAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!

41. I agree with the person who wrote comment #12. Britney will not succeed until she starts listening to those who know better than her. Right now she takes advice from no one and is actually mentally ill, it seems. She's delusional about her own power in this world. I think she really does need professional help. It's amazing and a little scary to see how money and fame can mess someone up so bad.

43. So, in the opinion of the last 5 or so posters, I guess you've all had kids, were back in tip top shape in 6 weeks, had no signs of baby fat, post-pardom depression or anything else related to childbirth. Do you all live in the same community? It is called "Steppfordville?". Did you spend anytime with your newborns or were you gymrats who were more concerned about your appearance than bonding with your child? How about breastfeeding? Gee whiz, that would mean that you would have had to actually eat and not be able to starve your vain selves. I am so sick of the Britney bashing, this is my last hit on TMZ. Bye.

P.S. "Britney R.I.P." Britney's Career: 1998-2007 If I was Britney, I'd have my lawyers all over you.

Last comment: Has anyone ever read a POSITIVE "story" on TMZ???

44. ok this has gotten about as goofball as it can get, strop trying to force a career on her that she obviously doesn't want. no-one put a gun to her and made her party until 4am every night, she's just acting out like a spoiled little southern brat & needs to suck it up & move on with the blessed & wonderful life she's been given.

jeez can you you imagine the "breakdown" if she had to rely on a Target Employee salary to pay bills each month & take care of herself & the boys??
