"Idol" Judges to Britney: We Want You!

"American Idol" judges Simon, Randy and Paula believe they have what it takes to bring back Britney's career.
Idol Judges to Bring Back Britney
In an announcement to FOX News, Simon Cowell says that, among other things, getting her "away from her stupid friends" will help revive her career.

"MTV ratings are up and all we're hearing is Britney, Britney, Britney!" Simon said. "She can turn it around." Could this bring Britney's career back from its Las Vegas grave?

It is unclear whether they want Britney to be a guest star or a contestant.

47. Right on! This is just what Britney needs. And she needs her Mom back in her life and get rid of the stupid friends.

48.

That William Hung and his rendition of "She Bangs" had better dance moves than this washed up piece of garbage.

50. I don't think it would be a positive thing. She'd be a joke and get laughed at. I bet she'll take ti though. She might get by with the sympathy vote.
I've got to say, the picture of her, above it hysterical! I can't help it, it's so funny! The blank "what was I supposed to do" stare, ugly hands, housewife body (they wish)and even her thin thighs look huge in those fishnets! Who would let her go out like that? Why didn't Madonna or someone help her out? It just shows how sick of her and how sick we are of seeing her flaws up close. I say the girl doesn't want to dance. She's ready for something else. Of course, she doesn't want everyone to remember her as a drugged out has been. Farrah Fawsett traveled that route and it doesn't look too pretty.
I guess that means she will have to make a come back as a singer/dancer. I hope it's over soon so we don't have to see her finish having her breakdown. I hope she doesn't do the naked model thing. She needs a magic man and not Cris Angel.

51. DOES THERAPY COME ALONG WITH THIS "BRITNEY IDOL REVIVAL" PACKAGE?

52. This picture of Brit reminds me of the one of Anna Nicole high and talking in that high voice while pushing around the doll in the baby carriage in the house. HKS is filming it and talking. Brit looks like a zoombie, just like Anna Nicole. Let's hope she doesn't end up the same way. Maybe a REAL trip to rehab and REAL therapy?
Don't surround yourself with yourself.

53. Ding, dang, doesn't anybody get it? It was the three years leading up to the VMAs that were her downfall, not the VMA performance alone. What about her boozin and druggin and partyin and flashin and hatin and dropping the kids and whorin it up?? THAT'S what brought her down and SHE did that to HERSELF. The VMAs were just the last straw.

54. I agree #15, - the one thing that NO ONE can do is to keep her away from HERSELF. A Psychiatric Hospital should be the first stop, but that would actually be "in her best interest". People are going to feed off her a little longer, - as long as her money holds out and she can function enough to walk.

56. If Britney was a contestant on "Idol", do you really think she could win?
Dancing & lip-syncing the way she does, she wouldn't even make it into the top 12.
LOL

57. Its Called Business. Music, Entertainment, etc. And any kind of business requires Work.
Britney has relied too much on her star power and Fame. Any of the entertainers who have enjoyed long healthy careers could tell her the bad press, partying and general disregard for public opinion would cost her. Simon, Randy and Paula are no strangers to what works in the Music industry and they are 100% right.
She has talent, She has fans, but her professionalism, dedication, and self discipline are questionable at best. Her handlers - Stylists and assistants who allowed her to go out on stage like that need to be fired on the spot.
Ditch your current friends and advisors!
Focus on your physical and mental health. -This includes straightening out her relationships with her family
Work with professionals not Starf.....rs.
And maybe, she can save part of her career.

58. The LAST thing she needs is more "handlers" and another "performance", - what she NEEDS is PSYCHIATRIC HELP!!!

59. Britney Spears is a selfish, immature, and self-indulgent. But I do feel sorry for her. She's clearly depressed and spiraling further and further away from reality. My take is that she grew up too fast and is now acting like most teenagers act: impulsive, rebelling against her mom, not willing to listen to anyone. Plus, throw in the fact that she's relatively uneducated (not to mention a mom, a divorcee and trailed constantly by paparazzi), and you've got all the makings of an unstable person. I don't wish her ill will but she does need to grow up before she can move forward in life.
