16. What did she think her husband was swallowing by the handful, tic-tacs? Courtney Love has a beautiful, normal, and intelligent daughter. She's obviously taught her child that life style is not anything you should model your life after. Sharon, on the other hand has made a mockery of her family and the fact her husband has did drugs with their children present. She's a money grubber.

17. Why is Courtney Love hanging out with so many of the young Hollywood crowd? She's 45 years old and is seen with celeb 20 somethings quite often. Now we hear she goes after the teenagers too! She's trying to help corrupt anyone who has money in their pockets! She talks about her partying all the time. It will catch up to her eventually and when it does......

18. #16 I agreen 100% That woman forced Ozzy to go perform when it was obvious he was neither mentally or physically cabable of doing so. Then she and her daughter would go out on the town spending all his hard earned cash. There were episodes where Ozzy was begging her to stop spending so much money because he didn't want to do it anymore. She uses him for his money. It is so painfully obvious the man is mentally ill but all she cares about is the cash in the bank and the gucci, prada, and LV hanging in her closet.

It sounds like your trying to paint a pretty picture of Courtney while trashing Sharon. What a joke! First, how old is Courtneys daughter? Give it a few more years before you make comparisons. Where was Courtneys daughter while she was doing her drugs & taking trips to rehab? Wasn't her daughter taken away from her for a while? Yeah, sounds like Sharon is definitely the better mommy of the 2. At least Sharon has worked through all the crap she's been through in her marriage and never opted to off her husband like so many people believe Courtney did! You say Sharon's a money grubber? How did Courtney end up with all her husbands money? I bet he'd be alive today if he hadn't told her he wanted to divorce her & take her out of his will. You really should read up on facts before you go defending that pathetic woman!

21. Thats it---blame the Pusher. Thats generally only part of the blame, with the other parts being the person themselves and the environment they come from.

The environment speaks for itself, a Dad with a known past abuse of drugs and alchohol and a Mom who enabled it all for the love of the business and money. And kids allowed to shout and disrespect their parents and all other authority.

Jack is a Rat for ratting out Courtney and not taking any of the blame himself. He probably could have simply reached into the medicine cabinet at home for any drug of choice.

Glad he got straight but the kid is still a punk and always will be. Seeing him hang around clubs isnt a real good move on his part for remaining straight either.

23. Sharon, the daughter of a man who she could never get close to but whom she did learn all the cuthroat and me myself and I rules about Business. Sharon the pudgy nobody who made her name on being able to have ice water nevers in the face of Rock Business management and dealmaking.

Its no wonder both her children have suffered a lack of emotional development and a dependcy on food, booze, sex and drugs. For her to blame Courtney Love is Denial at the lowest levels.

at some point when children become adults,
it is up to them to be responsible for their own lives.
no matter what the upbringing or influences were when they were younger

thankfully Jack has done that
he has chosen a drug free healthy life for himself and he is to be praised for it

could not have be easy considering the earlier influences of parents and the circle of people around him

not having limits set for him by his parents, he has learned to set healthy limits for himself and I wish him a lifetime of success and congratulate him on breaking the cycle

30. #20: I can't speak for everyone but I am not defending Courtney. I think she is a drug addict who is partly responsible for her husband's death. She didn't pull the trigger but she caused some events that led to it. What I am saying is it doesn't matter what Courtney did or does to herself. She is a grown woman making her own choices. Jack, however, was a minor child; therefore, it was both Sharon and Ozzy's responsibility to watch over him. If you watched the show you would clearly see Sharon was too self absorbed to monitor her children, in fact her oldest moved out because she couldn't stand the way the rest lived. Courtney is not to blame for Jack's addictions. Had it not been Courtney, he would have found them somewhere else. Growing up with an insane drug addict as a father and a self-absorbed user only fanned the flames of inevitable additions.
