She was send to rehab, but they only discovered that she was suffering from post partum depression – something that can happen to every woman – there were no signs of substenance abuse. Also she has never been arrested or whatever because of substenance abuse. I think she is going to a tough time and has some mental issues, but she is not an addict, she is not weak...

34. One would think you would not want more attention following the disaster. Brintey needs to "disappear" for about a year in some seclufed place with her children---and emerge as a healthy(ier) individual. The public will embrace it - and support it. But I doubt if she can stay out of the clubs long enough to do that...she is still so young...it is sad..

While I recognize that all the Britney bashing is, for the most part, in good fun--and she can certainly grin over the tens of thousands of dollars dumped into her bank account every day--I do agree with many here that at some point, it is better to either cheer for her or just let it go. TMZ, you can help us be nicer people by dropping some of your fibulastic headlines and text. Last weekend was not a massacre and she is not a poptrastrophe. And her career is far from over. You know that won't be the case until the fat lady sings.

36. Ok, it's seriously getting old. Who even cares anymore. Besides, this whole genre of music sucks anyway. Britney has, and always will, suck, along with every one else at the VMAs. Ok, maybe 1 or 2 songs by Akon is ok, but thats about it. The whole genre is p*ssy music for the stupid tween generation. I listen to mostly rock, classic rock, metal, alternative, and occasionally some rap music cause i like the bass beats. This whole "POP" music is just freaking horrible. The rednecks at country concerts get more drunk and violent than the people at metal/rock concerts, whats that tell ya.

37. Excuse me, but Alcohol is a substance, just like drugs. She was allegedly drug tested 15 days after going into rehab, and I am sure it was a urine test, Britney would turn up clean. The best way to test for drugs is a Hair Folicle Test. The drugs cant be flushed out of the hair roots, and they can measure how much drugs in your system. Britney stay home, get help, take care of your kids.. then think about a comeback

38. The producers of the MTV Awards Show exploited Britney and now it sounds like Fox may be doing the same. When you talk about Britney's camp stating that talks ' are not going through the official channels'--how would they know?? They are such incompetent morons at managing anything that Britney does and showed their true colors of management by allowing her to perform that choreography opening number in the mental and physical state she was in. Vanessa Hudgens needs to cancel all her future interviews and media circuit hype--she is a disgrace for all of our pre-teens and teenagers who look to a role model. Disney Corporation is lowering itself in the gutter by condoning this behavior and backing her up. Wish Michael Eisner were back as CEO.

43. Give me a break with the Vanessa thing already- why should she be punished for things she did before she was on the Disney Channel? Yes, she made an error in judgment and should have know they would surface but at least she owned up to it. And don't give me that crap about your kids seeing it. If you know what you're kids are doing it wouldn't be a problem. And if they hear about it at school- sit down and explain it to them! Not so hard. It's incredibly judgemental to say she should step down.
