Leo Drives Under Cover -- Literally!

Leonardo DiCaprio is such a good driver, he doesn't even need to see where he's going!

TMZ was outside Opera last night when Leo and buddy Kevin Connolly tried to make a sneaky escape -- DiCaprio trying to drive with his face covered to avoid the paps. Snap me if you can!

Leo's Lexus got a little too close to the papswarm, with one photog angrily yelling, "Wanna hit somebody, bitch? Why don't you get out and hit somebody?!" A few cameramen then ran after his car as Leo became the departed.

16. Wanna hit someone bitch? To the papsmear who said that, you sound like a thug wannabe tool. If you hate your subject matter that much, get another line of work, and don't block them when they drive and complain about getting hit. Seriously. My guess is if Leo had gotten out of his car to "hit someone" the trash talking papsmear would have folded like a card house. Leo didn't want to "hit someone." He wanted to leave a parking lot. It's the papsmear who wanted to stop him from doing that. And for that papsmear, you're the whiny little bitch.

17. no wonder brit and others have bad moments with paps like these. I think celebs need to be allowed some privacy.

18. The story phrasing was just precious. "trying to make a sneaky escape"--that pretty much sums up how celebrities are forced to live-like stalked jungle life-when they are just trying to get home after a meal, or on their way to an appointment.

Someone should start a business to hire photogs to photograph the photogs pushing their feet in people's cars or knocking down their mothers. Could be lucrative.

19. I have often seen the stars who are being filmed and snapped having to shield their eyes when they are pulling away from clubs. They can't see, which is why Leo was shielding his eyes. In this case, cutie Kevin Connolly was able to be his usual friendly and polite self and make conversation with the paps, but Leo was the one doing the driving. Kevin Connolly is friendly to the media to a fault. But, I have still seen footage of him shielding his eyes because he can't see to drive away (most recently with the girl who jumped in the front seat). You guys then went into a thing about him being embarassed and wanted to get away as fast as possible. No. He just wanted to be able to see again. That being said, I know Leo is notorious for being camera shy. Listen, guys, its not like Kevin Connolly and Leonardo DiCaprio were sneaking out for a night together and didn't want to get caught. They are best buds, on Thursday night, doing what buds doing. Hanging out at a club.
Maybe there needs to be a way to take the pics and then step back and let the stars drive away safely. What do you think?

20. I think it's stupid to go after these celebs they way you guys do..your going to cause an accident which will hurt or kill someone. Plus I don't think it's fair to harrass these people who are trying to leave a restaurant. They deserve to be able to come and go without you idiots calling them names and trying to get run over by them, on purpose too no doubt. And for what? 12 seconds of film?? Even if it was 12 minutes, it's still insane to follow these celebs everywhere they go. Why don't you all get a real job....oh I know, the pay wouldn't be the same, but you might feel better about yourselves in the long run.

21. I'll bet by showing the videos that show how these paparrazzi photos are taken, like this one, swarming around a car trying to move, blinding a driver with flashbulbs, shouting obscenities, threatening the celeb to provoke him, there will be laws enacted to limit what they do. TMZ TV will be the reason this stuff changes (Why do cities where this stuff routinely happens allow it??)

22. Paps = moronic leeches. The law should be altered to allow the stalked to be run over by the stalkers with no repercussion. In fact, let's give pap hitters bonus points!

23. Okay, I like some TMZ for some good gossip, but your photogs are out of control. Chasing down celebs for money....your making me sick. I'm no huge fan of either one of these guys but damn the man...let them get their car out and drive. I'm worried TMZ has become too overdone. We're not England.

24. Just so you guys (paps) know -- I don't think most of us care where celebs are eating dinner. And calling him names and saying things to try and provoke him to say or do something that will be juicy enough to earn you money -- is pathetic! Get a REAL job, like the rest of us. These celebs make your "job" SO easy! Leave them alone, if someone is trying to leave a parking spot or even just drive -- leave 'em alone! That was terrible! They're people too.

25. Kevin Connolly is a good friend. Look how he is trying to protect Leo, by honking the horn, while still maintaining a conversation with the press. He always has a smile on his face, and is so amiable. But, he knows Leo is camera shy. We should all have a friend like Kevin Connolly.

26. WOW, THAT SHOULD BE ILLEGAL AND I DONT MEAN THE WAY LEO WAS DRIVING. I WISH THERE WAS MORE EQUITY IN INCOME BUT COME ON. IM ACTUALLY STARTING TO FEEL SORRY FOR CELEBS. I THINK, YEAH THEY ARE TALENTED BUT THEYRE JUST HUMAN. GIVE THEM A BREAK. THE FLASHES WOULD KILL MY EYES, AND I HAVE HAD PEOPLE FOLLOW ME AROUND TAKING PICS, BUT AT LEAST THEY DIDNT TRY TO BLIND ME IN THE PROCESS.

27. Wonder if we will see Leonardo DiCaprio and Kevin Connolly hitting the clubs hard again like they did during their p*ssy posse days, now that both guys are single again?
Lots of eye candy and TMZ moments to look forward to. Make sure you are scoping Vegas, too. These guys are particularly happy hanging together at the Bare Pool, steak houses, and clubs of Vegas.

28. Didnt princess Diana die from a crash that was caused by the paparazzi? There really should be a law.
