92. 79. nobody is saying anything about Robert Blake or any other white murderer because this article isn't about them. This article is about O.J. Simpson.

My mother taught me when I was young, in order to move ahead in life you have to be responsible for your actions. If you did wrong admit it and move forward. If certain people don't ever quit blaming other people for their misfortunes in life then they'll never move ahead.

Thats whats wrong with Society today!

If the article was about Robert Blake or any other white you would not even be making a comment about it anyways. It should be about the facts and not about race but judging from a lot of comments it is about race.

93. No this story is not about Blake, I'm talking in general, fool. And look at your princes Lindsay Lohan...1 day in jail for 2 drunk drivings and 2 cocaine possessions. Yet someone like Brandy is vilified for accidentally killing someone with her car while sober.

Why does it matter if he killed two whites or two blacks? You think that it would make it better if he killed, for instance, Kobe Bryant and HIS wife? I am white, and it doesn't matter what color the skin is of the people he killed.....he's a murderer and he's walking our streets like he is above the law.

It doesn't matter if he's black or white, and yes.....they should be throwing Robert Blake in prison too! But in all honesty, if you can put a DEGREE of a murderer on a scale of one to ten, OJ's was much more violent and hate filled and horrendous. Not to take anything away from the others. Robert Blake deserves to be retried too!!!

OJ was much more of a public figure though, with millions of blacks AND WHITES adoring him and looking up to him. I didn't even know who the he** Robert Blake was.

The one thing though that I will scold about, and it was said in one of your earlier postings...

Since when did saying "sorry black ass" become racist? Has saying "sorry" and "black" in the same sentence graduated to a racial slur too?

someone needs to keep me informed on everything we can and CANNOT say that will offend.

I say "sorry white ass" to my husband all the time, is that racist too? "can your sorry white ass take out the trash for me?" etc.

Get a grip, not everything is meant to be racist and I really have to draw the line at "sorry black ass". There is NOTHING derogatory or racist about that phrase and it's used across all borders as a very common phrase.

This person just contradicted themselves big time. Murder is wrong period. Dosen't matter how someone was killed it was still murder. Why does someone have to use Sorry black ass? Why couldn't they just say his (Sorry ass) instead? So if I had said his sorry hunky white ass if he was white you wouldn't be calling me a black racist? You are so full of it.

96. How long can this guy continue with his antics? I took a trip to Aruba 2 years ago and I thought right in the seat behind me was a familiar voice. It was OJ, sitting behind my seat. I found myself feeling sick as I watched him read his paper, google eye this woman that was with him that looked exactly like Nicole. When he got off the plane woman were running up to him asking him for his autograph. The entire thing sickened me not to mention my back was less then ten inches from his hands. Then, I get to my hotel and who you think is also staying there? I had to watch his "fans" make asses out of themselves my entire vacation. Well, maybe not the entire vacation he arrived on Thursday and left on Sunday, spent many hours in the casino. Where were you Fred, your hands are just as dirty as his are now? If my kid died, I would not show the world what a money grubbing pig I was, like you have. You and OJ deserve each other.

97. Hmmmm, what about Nicole Browns family? Why is it that the waiter's family profits from the book and Nicoles' doesn't! I seem to remember 2 families loosing people in this horrific murder! Mr. Goldman whimpers everytime you see him about his son. Denise Brown has been an advocate for abused women ( something positive) Kim Goldman can finally afford Prada!!! Because of her dead brother! Is she doing anything to help women???? And Nicole's dad has only been interviewed a tiny handfull of times. Fred (Mr 15 minutes in the spotlight) Goldman however is always in front of the damn camera!!!! Please " My poor son"!!! How about their poor daughter!!!!

100. cinny you are wasting your time? The people who are responding to you in a negative way are a bunch of racists who will never see your point. They try to find all of these ways to justify their own hate or views. If o.j. simpson was accused of killing two blacks then a lot of these people would not be on here making comments. 101. I absolutely agree with the comments regarding Lindsey Lohan and Brandy. I feel very sorry for poor Brandy's being in so much trouble for a very tragic traffic accident. That could happen to anyone, and it's so wrong that she is in trouble, whilst Ms. Lohan is bouncing around visiting rehabs in every state in between drugged-up traffic accidents. It's wrong, so wrong. I work in various jails and substance abuse centers with people whose mistakes will haunt them the rest of their lives. I can't make this fair for them, as much as I want to. All I can do is deplore our system, which favors the rich and powerful.

As for Brandy vs. Lohan, I find it hard to argue that racism isn't involved, but I also wonder whether it has something to do with decency. From the beginning Brandy acknowledged the accident and has tried to do the right thing. She has been punished for that. Whilst Lohan has blamed everyone in sight (the black kid was driving, the cocaine wasn't mine, I wasn't wearing my own clothes), and has gotten away with it. It seems like a case of people who try to do the right thing being punished, while people who lie get away with it. I see that a lot in my job too.

Mainly I wish, and I know some of you will have fun posting about this, but I really wish all of us, black, white, purple (for all you purple people out there), green, whatever - I wish we could all look at each other as people and not as races.

What we are talking about are crimes, that's all. Blood is red regardless of what race sheds it.

105. from seeing the Goldman's on OPRAH yesterday
they will receive 17 cents per book sold
which is nothing compared to what OJ was going to receive from the book and TV deals etc.

and that is shared with the estate of Nicole-in other words her children, who apparently agreed with their dad that writing the book was OK to do

glad Simpson will not profit from it
but wish that it could have been destroyed

apparent;y the Goldman's had to promise the court that it wasn't the case-so they added their own pages to the book stating what they felt needed to be said
