Beardsley: OJ Apologized to Me

TMZ has spoken exclusively to Alfred Beardsley, the man who was allegedly robbed at gunpoint by OJ and members of his crew.

Alfred states that OJ apologized to him several hours ago, and says OJ feels as if the whole situation has been blown out of proportion. He also says OJ said he felt bad, and that it wasn't supposed to happen that way.

OJ then went on.

According to Beardsley, Simpson says that police advised him to "work it out amongst themselves" in order to resolve the property issue. Beardsley says the cops have not contacted him since the event. A police report has been filed in the incident.

Mr. Beardsley also said that he and OJ have known each other for years and that, "they fight like brothers." Beardsley feels as though the tip OJ received from another memorabilia dealer was to "set up" the situation that unfolded in the Palace Station Hotel.

Alfred tells TMZ that Simpson stormed the room Thursday night, after being told by another memorabilia dealer that Beardsley had personal items of his, including childhood photos and the infamous suit worn by OJ the day he was acquitted of murder. Those personal items are what OJ wanted back the most as they contained photographs and other mementos of close members of his family including his mother.

138. To Rich Head,

Ok, I will study the trial as you suggested.

Hmmm, my study has concluded that the US legal system had foungd OJ, NOT GUILITY.
Although, you made a strong argument, you must be a really smart lawyer.

143. To Free the Juice......

You ignorant ******. Go back and read my thread. AS IF I could pull a boycott on Vegas. I just stated that if the police aren't going to do anything re: the latest OJ escapade that perhaps we SHOULD boycott Vegas as a travel destination for families. Again, educate yourself before you try to make educated statements about something you obviously know nothing about and before you start slamming other peoples' opinions. All I was trying to say is that if you REALLY looked at the evidence and if you were REALLY objective enough to see beyond the color barriers, you'd KNOW that ******* killed those two people.

Tired of fighting with your stupid ass. I'm going to bed. Will be happy to take this up with you tomorrow. Read a couple of transcripts before we go to battle again, though, OK??????

144. The way this was handled is part of the problem. OJ should have been brought in and processed just as any other person would have been subject to. THEN he could try to "work it out" with his victim.

145. You did suggest a Boycott to Vegas...(LOL),
I am not sure what kind of families values you hold, but Vegas is not exactly on my list of family destinations. Maybe you should just keep ypu family trips to Tunica, MI, since you seem to know the place well.

Also, I just do need see any "education" in your opinions, they are opinions, just not educated. Not Guility, means, not guilty. I know it is hard for you to comprehend that fact.

You really wowed me with the use of "DNA", impressive! But there were very smart people in the DA office with unlimited resouces that could not prove the case to 12 members of society.

10 years later, move on ms. Huff & Puff, life is full of ups & downs and unfair outcomes, you will learn more about that when you grow up. And, if you call this fighting then you are even more pathtic then your opinions.

146. Great! Another book release. "If I Did It in LV - The return of Charlie (part 2)"

147. Comment #134 - hay - your welcome! it doesn't take a rocket scientist to know about gloves.

don't blame the prosecution in this case, it was the jury all the way down this messed up road. it didn't matter if this God forsaken brutal double murder commited by this rotten juice of a monster was caught on video tape, he was going free.

free the juice - he is free. there are better people and animals in this world that deserve their freedom. lock him up is more like it! get real.

148. Isn,t a crime to filed a false Police report? Also may have been some threats of death, LVPD is catering to crime as usual. NEEDS to be charged and convicted, if you or I did it we be in jail awaiting trial.

DA must be a collector himself...

149. i know the REAL reason why my brother changed his mind!

150. Just wondering...
OJ says he was operating a "sting" to get back items that were stolen from him...

Maybe it's time we asked him to prove it? How about coughing up a police report showing the items were stolen in the first place? Or was the theft never reported?

In the same light, why do a sting? You know where the stuff is, who's got it and when they will be there. Call a cop and have them arrested for theft and/or trafficking stolen goods.

Everything around OJ Simpson has the stench of hypocricy.
He plans on publishing a book on how he "would" have killed his wife, people get outraged and it never gets published.
OJ apologizes to everyone for it. ????

A few months later, the Goldmans get the rights (to settle OJ's civil case settlement) and on the day they are scheduled to appear on half the talk shows on TV, OJ's Vegas Vacation scoops the headlines. Coincidence?

Now the same book that everyone said they would never condone is number one on Amazon.com...

Congratulations. You just got played by one of the best promotional campaigns ever created. The Goldmans are well on their way to financial security, although it cost them a bit of moral integrity, and you just paid OJ's ticket.

Sheesh.....
