Jamie Foxx: Walk on Me

He starred in "In Living Color," and bombed in "Stealth." He'll shine a flashlight in your face, and pour mystery liquids down your throat if he thinks you're smokin'. And yesterday, Jamie Foxx got himself a star on Hollywood's legendary Walk of Fame!

Foxx, who won an Oscar for starring as Ray Charles in the eponymous "Ray," received the honor yesterday. As usual, he thanked his grandmother for raising him.

17. It distresses me and discusts me that Jamie Foxx gets a Star on the walk of the hall of fame when he supports and excuses Michael Vick in this financing of the pit bull fights and participates in the killing of the animals..Hey, Jamie, people can rise above their upbringing in they are pure of heart and soul...I rose above my upbringing because my heart and soul didn't want that kind of life..

18. Carol: really? Do you feel the same way about mental Brit Spears who at 21 got a star? If one person who did not deserve a star on the walk - it was her. So shut up - fair is fair.

19. Ever since this A hole defended Michael VICK we've changed our minds about him. Didn't think he deserved a star that's for sure but then again the celebrities BUY their stars, so they are not worth much more then the dirt on the sidewalk that holds them. We won't be spending any more money on his future films. Anyone who thinks like him doesn't deserve our money or support. There are plenty of other GOOD actors out there.

20. Hmmmmm
I thought a star on Hollywood meant that you had made more than one good movie , and that you had been around and payed your dues.

The'll give anything a star these days.

Oh for the golden age of Hollywood when actors where dashing and actresses glamerous.

21. Stupid: Really, NONE OF THEM DESERVE A STAR! I'm not picking on him. I think it's ridiculous that ANYONE without long term cred. would get one. Jeez

22. I just read that the stars are bought and paid for by the people who the stars belong to, so does anyone know how much they cost, and/or why some people have them and some don't. Also, I would like to know what Jaime was supposed to have said about Michael Vick and also what is this about him supposed to have been using drugs?

25. That big mouth ever find Michael Richards? All those claims of he was going to kick his ass--makes me think of OJ looking for the real killers.

This guy has some serious Tears of a Clown problems inside. Acting all funny and loveable when I get the sense deep inside of himself he is a miserable neglected feeling kind of person. And what was with all that Oprah stuff a year or so ago? Like he was searching for his Mommy or something.

He lost me for good on the Vick thing. Reverting to the standard "defend a black man" no matter the infraction at any cost, stance. Geez Foxx dont you know how to think for yourself and make your own decisions? Quit just jumping in on the Pile, it makes you look stupid and backward. Look at the deed, the affect and the impact, in a color blind way, than speak out. When you dont it makes you look as stupid and immature as Kanye West.

The Star is a bit early in your career, but you 've played some good roles and the acting part you do is good---now go work on the real life part.

29. Jamie was great on the Country Music Awards Wednesday night. I am a huge country music fan and Jamie made Rascal Flatt's singer look like an amateur. He is also a great actor and seems to be such a nice, humble guy. Congrats Jamie!
