Mormon Hunks -- Yes, Mormon Hunks!

Hot priests are so last year! The hottest calendar for 2008 is the Men on a Mission calendar, full of hot, shirtless Mormon men. What would Joseph Smith, Jr. say?!
Mormons Exposed
The "devout dozen" jumped off their bikes long enough to pose for the controversial day keeper, each of the LDS lotharios having just returned from missions around the world. Go west, young men! Portions of the proceeds will go to charity. The LDS Church isn't commenting on the scandalous pics ... but most of you probably didn't even read this far. Check out the rest of the Latter Day hunks in this handy gallery!

61. People, please. Learn the difference between "there," "their" and "they're."

"They are" = "they're"
Possessive is "their"
"There" refers to a place, point or stage

62. You know I am not sure what is more sad?!? The fact that many of you are bashing Mormons or that there is so little information that is out there and many of you are judging an ENTIRE religion on what little you know. Warren Jeffs is not Mormon...he is a separatist religion...Mormons DO NOT PRACTICE POLYGAMY! I think that anyone who wants to post something negative about a religion should get ALL the facts first. This nation was founded because of religious persecution and yet here we are still doing that today. Leave them alone to practice how they choose to, no one is making YOU be a Mormon.

65. I doubt if these guys are "Mormon's" because they know they shouldn't take off their shirts, but it's hard to say. They do have the right to choose what they do in their lives.
As to Mormonism being a cult, that is bull**%%. A cult is characterized by a marked devotion to one person, think for yourself and/or an inability to leave The only person we have a marked devotion for is Jesus Christ (ok, well and God the Father and the Holy Ghost). We are not only allowed to thiink for ourselves, we are encouraged to work out our own salvation through prayer. And lemme tell you, after being a member for over 30 years, I've never yet seen them lock us in and not allow us to leave. The REAL reason they call Mormonism a cult is because they have to use a name to call to make them feel superior. It elimates the need to ask themselves why they can't be as decent a people as we try to be (and often are.)
I can understand why people don't believe the things we believe, and that's ok. You should have your own beliefs and live your life the way you want. I just think that when you think about Mormon's you should focus on the people themselves. I believe the scriptures say somewhere that "by their fruits ye shall know them." If you look at the results of the teachings (the kind of people that our religion helps us become) maybe you wouldn't feel the need to bash us as a defense mechanism, just because you feel threatened.

Finally, I personally feel bad for the lady with the homosexual exhusband. I hope she can overcome that terrible experience and find the happiness she seeks.

68. And yes, Missionaries wear the special garments. You start wearing them once you've been through the Temple. And to go on a mission, you have to go through the Temple. I would know.

70. Warren Jeffs did once belong to the Mormon Church but, went off on his own and proved to be a freak. ---big Mike

Nope...he was born to Rulon Jeffs and one of his 90 wives. When he was born at 6mos gestation, he was supposed to die. When he survived Rulon Jeffs decided that was a sign that he should be the next 'prophet'. It's all BS, but even Rulon Jeffs believed in Sunday services, families that functioned in a viable community, ect. Warren does not...he's a bastard.

74. These guys are all in sexy photos, doesn't that go against the Mormon Religion??? They are Mormons??? - Yeah, right! Mormons don't want women to wear make-up, but obviously these guys are all made-up. I don't buy any of this. They are just out to make a buck and sell a calendar. I know a guy who "supposively" turned Mormon and he is a real jerk! (That's right Christopher.)

Posted at 4:16PM on Sep 15th 2007 by Mormon - Yeah Right!

75. If they didn't have their "secret" rituals, along with their under garments with special "powers" I might be ok with the Mormon religion. Also the fact they they believe that only certain people are allowed into their sacred temple because everyone else is unworthy, is a load of crap. It's so sad that the mormon marriage ceremonies do not include anyone who isn't "worthy" to be allowed to witness the marriage. I think it is very offensive that ANYONE would turn away people from their temple because they have been judged as unworthy to enter! Jesus NEVER turned anyone away who wanted to see him or listen to him. It seems as though there are things going on that, if people DID know the truth of their bizarre ceremonies, they would think of the mormon religion as just another wacky cult religion. I have known of several young men who were forced by their families to go on those 2 year missions. They didn't want to be disowned by their families, so they went against their will. That is just wrong! Not all mormon families force their kids to go, but MANY do! Sad, Sad, Sad religion! Oh and I love the way that they are pretty much forced to marry into their own religion too. If the person they are in love with is not mormon, then they must convert or forget about that person!
