What Makes James Woods Cry?

The legendarily gifted actor/director James Woods, 60, and his former flame, 21-year-old Ashley Madison, were munching a morning meal at Swingers Diner in L.A. when the two had a "moment."


The self-proclaimed "movie saps" were chatting about one of their favorite flicks, when Ashley got gushy. She defended herself by saying, "he was crying about a movie he wants to direct ... he was crying while I was crying."

The good-spirited twosome snickered about their sniffles, and wished TMZers good luck.

33. I saw him in person. I didn't realize he's so short; and he was skinny, then. Now, he has a paunch. Never was goodlooking; but if you see "Curse of the Starving Class", there's a long distance shot of him, naked. It's badly done, so don't blink. There you'll see what his prized asset was, when he was young and not goodlooking. That gave him an advantage.

As for Ashley, we all see how far Katie Holmes is willing to go, for reasons of security!

34. As an actor, I love him. I think he is terrific in the CBS drama, "Shark" with Jeri Ryan.
However, he is a perfect example of just how shallow men can be. Has he not looked in a mirror lately?
He's a 60 years old man, and not a particularly handsome 60 either. He is not getting "more distinguished" as many aging men would like to think of themselves…he is just getting older.
Question…James, why do you suppose so many pretty, extremely young "wannabe actresses" are attracted to you? Use your 180 I.Q. head to figure that one out…not the "little" one!
Something tells me there's gonna be a whole lot of cheating going on!

36. It's yucky. What does her father say? Just ewwww. I saw them once out playing poker ... (he was playing, she was watching). I thought maybe she was his daughter or granddaughter. They were not affectionate (thank God)or I would have really been grossed out. She was real snotty and didn't smile much the whole night. I didn't know she was even an actress. I shoulda figured because she was sure full of herself ... which I thought was hilarious because she looks like every other 20 something college kid in Southern California. Gimme a break.

37. The article starts out with Ashley being his "former flame"....I thought that maybe he'd wised up, between her antics at his brother's funeral etc...but I guess not. Some guys don't care that the only reason the young girls flock is the $$ or the possibility of an acting career. Sorry, saw Ashley on Entourage...she's a terrible actress, doesn't seem all that bright, and not that attractive either...
