186. As for the questions about why the media follows Brit -- Well, you're here, aren't you? You're interested. Brit's antics get peoples attention (witness MTV's getting her to lead off their Video Awards, and the ratings they got as a result). The Paps follow her because recently, she's had a history of doing outrageous things in public, in full view of the cameras. Although a certain amount of what you read here is "Brit goes out for coffee at Starbucks, Ding Dang!", the reason for the obsessive coverage is that Brit does things like driving into parked cars, assaulting photographers with umbrellas, or going for a swim in her underwear often enough to make it worth following her around with a camera.

If she really wants to shake the paps, there's a simple solution. Lie pretty low, and don't do the outrageous acts in public (wear underwear, for instance). If she don't provide the paps with material, her coverage will soon subside to a dull roar. Mind you, maybe she feels that no coverage would be even worse than what she has now (i.e. -- there's not such thing as bad publicity [I disagree with this statement!])

HMMM lets see...Pamela Anderson should lose her kids we have seen everything she got...oh yeah, there is Madonna hell she did a whole book on sex, the justify my love video (borderline porn) AND simulated sex during one of her concert....we should through the book at her, and there is the Mom wanna be Paris Hilton we've seen all her privates and she has a sex tape. When is a judge going to grow a pair, place the children in protective custody, and rule that neither of them is fit to be parents? When one of them dies from neglect, or worse, parental attention? We've seen how good they are at that.
