Cops: Case Closed on K-Fed Death Threat

k-fedTMZ has learned that reports of an FBI investigation into a plot to kill Kevin Ferderline are completely untrue -- however, an LAPD investigation was conducted in the past.

According to LAPD, the department opened an investigation into a threat on Federline's life nearly two months ago, but the case was closed due to insufficient evidence.

TMZ also spoke with the L.A. spokesperson for the FBI, who blasted reports claiming that the the FBI ever confirmed anything about a K-Fed investigation saying, "The information on the Internet on these reports is not accurate. It did not come from the FBI at all."

97. The FBI neither confirmed nor denied an investigation, - they ONLY stated that they never "confirmed" anything to the media or gave them the information reported on. It's a slick piece of a statement, probably written by Federal Attorney.

101. I am wondering if true that K-Fed gets $20,0000.00 per month alimony if it changes his child support payments to Shar Jackson. Isn't child support based on income in Ca? He may lose a good chunk of change to Shar unless she makes more money than he does. It would serve him right .

103. I'm old but I still remember what its like to be young and vulnerable to making big mistakes. (hope i'm done with that anyway) Danged if I know why I'm even interested in this trainwreck, but since I apparently am, this is my grand analysis: Britney's great love has always been Justin Timberlake, but she was too young, was still curious about other men, and blew it big time fooling around on him, to her eternal regret. Perhaps all the bright lights blinded her, but it was too late. JT dumped her, so eventually she settled for far less with the K-Fed character, maybe as a way to tell JT and even herself that option was closed. But years with K-Fed only caused her to realize just how bad a mistake that was, especially with Justin T. in comparison to K-Fed. My theory is that after Justins's song about what goes around comes around came out, something in Britney just snapped. While I've never been a fan of hers, I understand that she had a marvelous work ethic, was used to succeeding through her own efforts, but her inability to get back the man she really wanted was just something she had no idea how to deal with. Showing her ass isnt working for her. I hope she decides for herself to get some help. If she does get the counseling she needs, maybe she and her children by the man she dosent love will still have a chance at a good relationship. I wish her and her children well.

104. I don't think this is over, I don't think the whole story has been told. I like Kevin, and I think he's a good father and he loves his children very much!!! I do not blame him for fighting for custody. Britney is whacked. He would be criticized by all the same people if he wasn't fighting for custody. Her behavior is dangerous and completely out of control. She was banned from the Chateau Marmont for smearing food on her face.. She shaved her head, she's constantly flashing her crotch to photographers, she performed on international television DRUNK, and that's just the tip of the iceberg. For pete's sake, what are some of you not getting here?
