Mystery Witness Alleges Drug Use by Britney

Tony Barretto, a former bodyguard for Britney Spears, filed a declaration in the Britney Spears/Kevin Federline custody battle which alleges "nudity, drug use and safety issues post-rehab."

Gloria Allred, Barretto's attorney, said in a press conference today that Brit's former hired muscle was prepared to testify under oath today, but that neither the court nor Britney's attorneys chose to cross-examine him. She said his declaration went "unrefuted and unchallenged."

Barretto started working for Britney when she got out of rehab, and was fired on May 17 because, said Allred, "He did not hear her when he was asked to pick up her hat."

Barretto, himself the father of young children, came forward, Allred says, because while working for Britney, he became "very concerned" about the safety of her two boys. Allred also said that she has spoken to County Counsel for Child Protective Services about Barretto's concerns.

62. Have we all missed something here............Kevin is a pot smoker. He has been quite open about it and if I am not mistaken is this not a drug. Last time I checked it is still considered an illegal substance. Why is no one mentioning this in the court process?

64. Gloria Alred is just a publicity hound. I don't find her credible at all. X17online.com is saying the secret witness isn't credible, saying he has an ax to grind. As much scrutiny as Britney comes under over her kids, the detractors just need to shut up. If there was something to be found, it would have surfaced by now! Face it! ....She is not endangering her kids.

68. As far as Britney passing a drug test.....coke doesn't stay in your system very long, more than likely she's abusing prescription drugs and alcohol. As for all the Clowns that were supposed to show loyalty on the job, thats pretty lame when you have to find an excuse so ludicrus as to why you were fired. Yep, gang up on her and her money. You wont have much left the next time you end up looking for a job with all the bad publicity about you. Besides, its all heresay anyway and wont hold up in a court of law, her best bet is to pack up and move outta state away from all the losers and soaks that are around her constantly.

70. The courts should be focusing on getting Britney help. K-Fed is only trying to get more money, he doesn't really want custody of the kids! And the allegations are thus far vague--what kind of drugs? What unsafe issues? And truly, does anyone think nudity around babies is a big deal? They're babies, not horny teenagers. 71. britney and k-fed remain at 50/50...

the only reason why i can see him going for custody and trying to pull as much garbage as he can against her is for money. sorry... even if you dislike the girl, it is wrong to use children for your own benefit.. if his kids were 'in danger', he should have never agreed to a 50/50 - but he only did so b/c if he fought for more custody at that time, it would have held up his payments. he needed to get paid first, THEN worry about his kids...

now, his attorney has indicated that most of the people have been deposed that were supboened, they do not know what the next course of action is, but to see what the depositions indicated and then go from there. Completely fishing on this and it is sad to see. they are trying to build up as much as they can to collectively make her look bad...

her new lawyer will take over and i'm sure will be fantastic. as for Allred, someone please tell her that her time is up....

If everyone would stop listening to her pathetic attempts at music, and stop scooping up every mag that has her picture on it, maybe she would clean herself up and understand the peril her career is in. She is washed up. If she would commit herself to being a GREAT mother to those boys then everything else; her career, her image will fall back into place and she could be back on top.
