Nick Hogan wants the wreckage of his car back -- but the father of critically injured John Graziano says not so fast, boy.

TMZ has obtained exclusive documents through PIO Wayne Shelor at the Clearwater Police Department, showing that Nick, through his attorneys, asked for his wreck back on August 28 -- and without searches, please -- adding that the vehicle might be "the subject of potential future litigation." Then it looks like Nick got yet another lawyer to represent him in the accident, and they sent a letter as well.

On September 5, Edward Graziano, the reportedly temperamental father of the still-hospitalized John, had his attorneys notify cops that they "preserve the vehicle so that we can have the opportunity to have our accident reconstructionist coordinate a date and time" to examine the wreck.

16. He's a spoiled brat - and accident was caused by him - end of discussion!!! And.. his parents are idiots as I decided to tune into to last night's show.. the whole family needs to get out of the public spotlight and move on and let the kid pay the price of what he did!!!

20. I've seen this too many times.. Rich spolied kids with cars they can't handle and it's both his fault and the parents fault.. I have a 15 yr old son that want a 64 or 67 Mustang and you best believe it will have a slant v6 until he get's older and then we'll swap the motor out.. Cars are like bullets fired from a gun.. Once they get out of control you can pull them back.. I know the downtown Clear Water area and suprised he didn't hit or kill anyone..

21. It's intersting that he wants the car back...makes you wonder why. The thing is beyond repair and is only good for recycling

The possible reasons could be:

1. Drugs are stashed in it.

2. The Hogans don't want reconstruction of the car...it might prove the guilt of the Hulkette.

3. They want to sell it piece meal on E-Bay

When they get a good look at the car's blackbox or EDR.....then a clearer picture will be told about the events occurring right up to the moment of impact such as speed, how hard the brakes were applied, steering wheel movement, etc. It will contain data right up until the crash and right after.

IMHO - it doesn't look good for young Nick.

26. Very unfortunate situation - hopefully our legal system will be capable of determining the truth dispite the media attention, celebrity status and fancy lawyers. If Nick was racing and caused this accident - and serious injury to his passenger then he should suffer the consequences, whatever they be.

29. The BOLLEA'S are trying to cover for NICK in any way possible.
HULK got on TV and said "Thank God he was NOT RACING" according to the witnesses he has talk too.!!
Paid witnesses maybe. But the Ones who got on TV said NICK was RACING.
Linda Hogan stated that her son is a average 17 year old and like ALL 17 year olds he has gotten a couple of speeding ticket.But that we should not be so hard on Nick. Then she goes on to say HOW they BROUGHT in a Specialist for John G.

Bring in who ever you want. doesnt change THE FACTS. Your son was RACING ON public streets and CRASHED . though you might have money. Doesnt mean you OWN public streets and can do what u want on them.

I STILL WANT TO KNOW WHY IT'S TALKING SO LONG TO CHARGE SOMEONE. AND WHY HASNT THE SILVER VIPER DRIVE NOT CITED.
