Judge to Brit -- You Got Substance Abuse Problems

The judge in the Britney Spears custody battle found that "there is a habitual, frequent, and continuous use of controlled substances and alcohol by (Britney)." The judge has ordered Britney "to undergo testing for the use of controlled substances and alcohol." Testing will be conducted randomly twice a week.

According to judge's order, no changes were made yesterday in the custody arrangement. As we first reported, custody is split 50/50 between Britney and K-Fed. He wants to change it to 70/30 in his favor.

The documents underscore the bitterness in the custody battle. Judge Scott Gordon ruled that "Each party is restrained from making derogatory remarks about the other party and the other party's family or significant other..."

The judge also prohibits Brit and K-Fed from "using corporal punishment with the minor children and from allowing anyone else to do so."

The judge also ordered the battling parents "to engage in joint co-parenting counseling." The order continues, "Each party is ordered to complete the PARENTING WITHOUT CONFLICT program."

The judge went on, "Neither party shall consume alcohol, or other non-prescription controlled substance during or for the 12 hours immediately preceding any period such party is responsible for the health and safety of the minor children."

64. It is a typical order if an allegation has been made by either party that alcohol is involved in any way. Kevin wants the custody split 70/30 so he gets child support. If the split is 50/50, she doesn't pay anything. That's the way it works! He isn't looking after anyone's welfare other than his own although Britney's sure giving him lots of fuel to get what he wants. Think what her kids will think when they are old enough to understand this stuff.

65. So they were using corporol punishment on the boy's. Well, both need to take lesson's from Jo, the nanny. She has alot of good idea's that does not include beating a 1 and a 2 year old . I think they both should go to parenting classes, anger managment, and a 12 step program. If they aren't addicts it wouldn't be hard.

66. Just another day in paradise and just another day in the ongoing saga of Britney and K-Fed. Unfortunately I have to agree there are a lot of irresponsible parents out there who don't understand when the kids arrive, the partying stops, or at least it should. Parents tearing each other to shreds in front of the kids is commonplace too. They know it's wrong but it doesn't stop them, it just doesn't usually end up on the internet. Will this straighten out Britney? Stay tuned. She has to stop trying to make a comeback and just take a step back at this point, concentrate on parenting, see a doctor, get a diagnosis and some medication, some counselling and give up alcohol and drugs forever. Poor ignorant trailer trash, all the money in the world wasn't going to teach her how to raise kids. Does that mean her mother never taught her either? Doesn't matter, she's responsible for her own behaviour at this point.

69. they should go visit Dr Phil. Bottom line, its about the kids. Each one should not have custody UNLESS AND UNTIL they can prove themselves worthy. Both parents need to grow up. Dr Phil could resolve this in 1 show.

75. I think he should have also ordered that all nannies be interviewed by both parents and both parents should have a say in who gets hired. I think one nanny that also has to report to the courts and go to both houses can protect the children better. as for drug testing unfortunately alot of people come up dirty and are giving numerous chances....
