Just Like Old Times ... O.J.'s Back in Court

In a scene reminiscent of 1995, a tired looking O.J. Simpson-- in a full prison jumpsuit, handcuffs and shackles oh my!-- walked into a Clark County Courthouse for his first appearance on burglary, robbery, kidnapping, conspiracy and assault with a deadly weapon charges.

Longtime attorney Yale Galanter is by his side, along with attorney Gabriel Grasso.



Ironically, former prosecutor Marcia Clark is in the courtroom, covering the proceedings for "ET." O.J.'s girlfriend Christine Prody, his sister Mattie and his daughter Arnelle are also in the courtroom.

O.J. said very little, answering "yes" when asked if he'd seen the charges and understood them and advising the judge that he lived in Miami, Florida.

O.J. judge: Click to watchThe prosecution announced that the two sides have agreed to allow Simpson to post $125,000 cash in bail, provided he surrender his passport (but can travel freely in the U.S.) and have no contact with any witnesses, alleged victims or co-defendants in the case. We're told it could take 12 hours to spring the Juice.

A status hearing has been set for the week of October 22.

The hearing lasted 10 minutes.

38. OJ is going to walk. If the person he supposedly robbed set up offshore accounts for OJ, then they'll look into his crooked finances too. This is all clearly a setup.
I heard OJ was seen in a boat off the coast of Florida.....

43. Lets hope that this trial will not be marred by overt racism, and maybe the trial will be fair. Hopefully, the LVPD are not a bunch of racism mongers, and the investigation will be completed without a hitch. Thats all that we can ask for...

44. I believe that oj killed both his ex-wife and ron but this should not be about the case that has already been tried. This story is very suspicious, because all the people invovled are CROOKS!!! From oj to the so called victims. All of these people were working together at one point and time. If everyone would just listen to whole story and not what they want to hear. I think oj will probably get away with this too, because of the eagerness to convict him for his past crime. All of them involved should go to jail right along with oj, his friends if they indeed pulled a gun, the guy who sold the tape to TMZ, and the man that was in possesion of the items in question. I think that the Brown and Goldman family should be given the items as part of their judgement. I hope that the media does not cause another racial divide in this country all over again. I'm Africian- American woman and like myself others believe that he got away with murder. He murder the mother of children. The fact that Nicole happens to white has nothing to do with it. He will have to stand before God on judgement day just like each and everyone of us no matter what we do sin is sin. I hope everyone let the system work. The Brown's and Goldman's deal with the death of their loves everyday. To the media this is another hot story to get ratings. Stop exploting this tradegy of these people.
