Katherine Heigl Prays for Britney

TMZ caught up with "Grey's Anatomy" starlet Katherine Heigl at an Advocate magazine party on Tuesday night, where the recent Emmy winner threw in her two cents on America's favorite popwreck, Britney Spears. Ding dang, doc!

The 28-year-old believes Brit's early fame and intense media scrutiny contributed to her downfall and said, "My heart breaks for her." Perhaps Izzie can date a cardiologist this season!

While Heigl thinks Brit Brit is a "good girl," she added, "I hope to God she finds her way." STAT!

61. As long as Britney is a druggie and drunk she will never come to her senses. I pray that someone with common sense smacks her stupid looking face! Britney deserves it!

65. Katherine Heigl was standing up for Britney, not putting her down like some people keep saying. She was being a caring individual. More people should follow her example.

67. Hey "I'm not your bitch, bitch", hmmmm nice name by the way! I'm pretty sure when you feel sympathy for someone and wishing them well, IS NOT the same thing as judging them! It is a nice loving thing to do! Here is a little judgment for you: can we say pessimist much????
p.s.- I've noticed that the people who talk most about "not judging others" are the ones who deep down feel most guilty about their actions!

68. WTH is going on here? You that post that we should leave the trailot park princess alone...and feel sorry for her. Don't you think that is what Miss H. was doing here. She stated in public that she feels sorry for whar has happened and is going on with Brit. To the others with their nasy remarks, grow a brain.....and use it. Some need to go back to school and learn to not only read but understand what they read...........

72. I feel for Brit and believe that she will figure it all out soon enough. I can't believe that all you angry and mean people out there have never made mistakes or bad decisions... Lucky for you that you don't live under the constant scrutiny of the Media, the public and pretty much everyone... otherwise there might be comments such as yours being "blogged" about you! Give her a break and turn the mirror on yourself!

74. #37 She was asked her opinion, she gave it, just as you have here. Why should she sympathize with Washington? He was not professional in his craft, because his craft is TV. He made those comments on the set of the show and in front of a live camera feed! I don't call that being professional. Katherine gave her opinion when asked, she might not know Spears, that doesn't mean she can't sympathize or empathize with her. She does know what it is like to be in the spot light, and at a young age! So, she can relate! You don't have to know someone to relate to the issues that they might be experiencing!

75. These people that are mad at Katherine for "sticking her nose in" the Isaiah Washington thing forget something. She was sticking up for her best friend. That's something a lot of us would do if we had a chance. We can't always stay neutral when we feel someone close to us is being hurt. I'd do the same thing.
