O.J. Victim on Tape -- I Set Up Offshore Accounts

9/19/2007 2:21 PM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

TMZ has obtained an audiotape recorded one hour after O.J.Simpson and his crew allegedly robbed two men in a Las Vegas hotel room.

An hour after the incident, Bruce Fromong, a sports memorabilia dealer and an alleged victim, can be heard ranting, "Nobody puts a gun in my f****n' face. I stood up for that motherf***er in -- in while he was in jail. I stood up for him in the press. I stood up for him on the, on the stand. I helped him set up his f***in' offshore accounts. Don't f**k with me."

If true, this could be a road map for Fred Goldman to go after Simpson's assets.

Fromong had a serious heart attack days after the incident, but is improving. His condition was upgraded to fair this morning.

Is O.J. hiding money?

Don't be so hard on the Goldman's. If this piece of crap had killed my son I'd hound him till hell froze over. I'd probably be in jail for his murder!!!

The only way to go after OJ is to hit him financially - No one can blame Goldman....you would do the same if it were your child.

Haven't you ever heard of wrongful death suits? Seizing oj's assets is the only manner in which to punish him for murdering Nicole Brown & Ron Goldman thanks to his racist , stupid California jury. The science of DNA applies in every case - unless the jury chooses to disregard it.

I'm sure the victims' families much rather would prefer their relatives alive. Since oj brutally murdered them, they would have preferred a guilty verdict returned and seen that sorry excuse for a human remanded to jail for life. In normal states, with normal juries, he would have been found guilty and would have been spending the rest of his sorry life on death row unsuccessfully appealing his death sentence and the Law Vegas incident never would have happened.

...Is the world is such a dangerous state, (war profiteering, polution related weather instability, urban-overcrowding, dying religions, (east & west), resorting to violence {& 'believe or go to hell' verbal coercion, to forcibly attract 'believers'}, Bush's pilleging of the U.S. economy, human overpopulation, etc., Ad_Nauseaum), that the 'talking heads' cowardly resort to "OJ_Mainia?

Hey #20. I think that Goldman's dad is just after the money. If you want to look at the big picture and he doesn't want the money, then why hasn't he donated every last penny that he has been able to squeeze from OJ? Now he is making 17 cents off of every copy of OJ's book.

"Fred Goldman is the only parent I know who used his sons brutal murder as a payday..."

DUH, you can't really believe it's about that. I admire Fred Goldman for going after OJ relentlessly, since the authorities can't do it. He knows this man murdered his son and rather than roll over, he hunts him and goes after his assets. OJ can never rest easy with Fred on his tail...as it should be.

This latest brush with the law is one of the odder things that O.J. Simpson has involved himself in. I'm curious to see how the legal system sorts this out. It's tempting to view this as some sort of "karma" for O.J. Simpson having gotten away with murder before, but this is a totally separate case. It has to be handled as such.

The comments posted here slamming Fred Goldman as having used his son's death to enrich himself and seek fame are cruel and unjust. Fred Goldman and his daughter Kim are obviously enraged and griefstricken at the loss of Ron Goldman. They've been clear over the years that their preference was to see the criminal justice system punish O.J. Simpson. When that didn't happen they chose to hold him accountable in the only way that they legally could - suing him, harassing him financially, and publicizing his guilt. More evidence came out in the civil trial that strongly supported the conclusion of O.J.'s guilt in the murder case. I don't think they personally care about the money as much as making sure that O.J. suffers for brutally snuffing out Ron Goldman's life. Frankly, I think they're being very civilized about the whole thing. If MY brother had been butchered that way I'm not sure I'd be content with letting the legal system try to hold the murderer accountable.

Does anyone know what the Goldman family has done with the $$$s they received as a judgement against OJ?
I'm sure it would satisfy a lot of posters if they gave it all to charity. Actually, it's their business what they do with it, though.
The murder trial was one of the greatest miscarraiges of justice is the history of the U.S. legal system.
Their civil case was fair and square and completely legal. One question: did the Brown family receive any financial judgement against OJ, and if not, why?
If they didn't, I guess it would be because of their two grandkids.

You are collectively a bunch of sniveling cowards! OJ was acquitted by a jury, meaning, if you believe in the justice system, that he is innocent. The idiotic general public seems to have substituted their judgment for a jury who had the opportunity of reviewing all of the evidence – I guess the public can better determine innocence or guilt by watching TV (Nancy Grace or Glen Beck) or, for an even more informative source, the National Enquirer. The jury, who had the benefit of viewing all of the evidence and all of the witnesses, in person, properly concluded that OJ was innocent. Now the public wishes to have OJ convicted for an entirely unrelated crime based on the perception that he should have been convicted for the murders of Nicole and Ron.

OJ was able defend himself by spending a substantial sum of money, unlike many poor defendants who are simply railroaded by the system. OJ was able to demonstrate that the evidence against him established very little other than that the police and the prosecutors had fabricated evidence, tampered with evidence, committed perjury and were doing anything that they could to have a jury find him guilty.

A new industry has been hatched – bottom feeding talk show hosts such as Nancy Grace, Glen Beck, Gloria Allred, etc. These people make their money convincing the idiotic public that various individuals charged with crimes are guilty long before the trial even occurs. There concept of justice is very similar to that of Iran. If we think you did it, we will conclude that you did do it prior to a trial even occurring. No wonder the civilized world cringes when they watch cry baby talk shows like Nancy Grace, and, worse yet, every idiot who calls in with a ground breaking legal idea, started off with “I love you Nancy”.

OJ attempted to retrieve memorabilia that was stolen from him. He was set up by a petty criminal, a small time loser who has sold the tapes so as to profit from his sleazy scheme to set up OJ. Only OJ was made to post substantial bail, as usual the PROSECUTOR IS LOOKING FOR HIS 15 MINUTES OF FAME. Mike Ricci is the most culpable individual involved and he apparently has been granted immunity.

As usual the cowards have banded together and are crying for OJ to be convicted, given that he was not convicted last time. THE TRUE HALLMARK OF A COWARD IS THAT PART OF A PACK, AND IS COMPLETELY DEVOID OF EVEN ENOUGH COURAGE TO DISAGREE WITH THE PACK. THIS APPLIES TO EVERY COWARD THAT IS CURRENTLY CRYING FOR OJ’S CONVICTION.

A SNIVELING CUR DOG HAS MORE COURAGE THAN THE CURRENT GROUP OF LOSERS THAT ARE ALL PARROTING EACH OTHER!

I'm so bloody sick of you people accusing Fred Goldman of being a gold digger and trying to get rich and famous from the death of his son. You've obviously forgetting that the Goldman's were awarded the settlement by the courts that OJ has never paid up. I don't blame Fred one bit for continually going after OJ's money. Everyone knows OJ has it hidden somewhere, apparently in offshore accounts, according to Mr. Fromong. I hope OJ gets exactly what he deserves, life in prison with no chance of his murdering black ass ever walking the streets again. Maybe then will the Goldman and Brown families finally have some peace.

fred goldman has been repeatedly maligned here about just wanting money for his son's death. This is a complete load of crap. No doubt in my mind, he would much prefer to see oj fry in the electric chair for the brutal murder of his beloved son than get a penny. He would much prefer to have a live son than any amount of money. Unfortunately, that was not an option for him, he had to settle for a civil judgement, best he could do. It will never replace his precious son. It will however give at least some punishment to an arrogant vicious murderer that would otherwise get off scott free. I perfectly understand that what Fred Goldman is trying to do is salvage what justice he can by going after simpson's assets. If you cant figure this out then you probably so dumb you think oj is innocent. If simpson cant die in electric chair or jail, then at least he should die broke.

I can't believe so many people are so quick to judge Fred Goldman when you have never walked in his shoes. Saying that Fred Goldman is using the murder of his son as a payday and a meal ticket is ridiculous.

As for him getting a payday, OJ Simpson was found GUILTY in a civil trial. He was ordered by a court of law to pay 33 million dollars to the victim's families. Fred Goldman and his family are owed millions of dollars, plus interest, from OJ Simpson and after 11 years he has paid nothing. The Goldman's will not get rich from this book. They will make 17 cents from each book sold. That will be no where near satisfying the judgement, they are owed.

And what fame has Fred Goldman gotten? The fame of when someone googles his son's name, the photos of his death are there and his autopsy report for everyone to read.? I wouldn't wish that FAME on anybody.
