Star Catcher
Mary Louise Parker's New Baby Girl

"Weeds" star Mary Louise Parker was snapped on Thursday holding the latest accessory to sweep Hollywood -- a Third World baby! Adorable!

The lovely duo were attached at the hip, as MLP chatted on her cell phone after taking the little one to a doctor in New York.

Mary Louise already has a 3-year-old son from a previous relationship with loser actor Billy Crudup.

16. How so Hollywood of her!! Don't we have enough unwanted children in this country that can be adopted?

17. I think it is great when people adopt a child, but I agree with #17 on the fact that it would be nice if a celebrity would adopt a physically or mentally challenged child. I mean afterall it takes a lot of money to raise a child with a disability and we all know celebrities have the money. If Angelena and Brad really want to show that they love children then why don't that help a child out that really needs help.

21. Is this the latest Hollywood thing, adopt non american children? There are so many children in this country that could use a good home, even right there in their own back yard. And how is it the celebrities can adopt so quickly?

24. to Duhh I dont know if you have any expericence in adopting a child in the US but speaking from my own it is NOT a lengthly process . I started my process in July and my incredible daughter arrived in my arms in December .

25. I commend Mary Louise for her choice to adopt. Adoptions of US children are often time-consuming and filled with red-tape and difficulties with birth parents, etc. Perhaps if we had a better system in place in our own country, individuals would not have to look elsewhere for the joy of becoming parents.

Ok, she did good, but DID IT HAVE TO OCCUR WITH THE TV SHOW?????

Is it a ratings ploy, that she didn't do this months, years ago, but NOW???

27. O.K. guys, let's be honest here, it's not like the kid is reading this. Looks aren't everything but..... this is not a physically atractive child.

28. There are a lot of sick people on this post! I for one am so happy to see these children given a shot at a great life!!!(much better than any of you are likely to have--EVER) Black might be the new black, and it's is so beautiful to seeeeeeeeeeeeeee. I love it. Go Madonna, Angelia, and any other man or women open enough and loving enough to reach out across the globe to a child and change their lives for the better. America is reach enough to take care of its children and the fact that any American child is living in poverty says a whole lot about our government. So much for no child left behind.....

Helping is great, if you want to help them get involved in projects that nurture them in their own culture, not rip them out of it. Plenty of American children need foster/adoptive famililies, as long as you don't want perfect white newborns. If you want to help for helps sake than adopt a mentally or physically challenged child from your own culture. I'll be glad when this Hwood fad runs its course. Its even worse than seeing them with tiny dogs.
