Celebrity Justice
O.J. Simpson Popped for Armed Robbery -- in 1996?

Believe it or not, this isn't the only time that Orenthal J. Simpson has been charged with armed robbery -- in Las Vegas.
Is this the real OJ?
TMZ has obtained court papers and police records that show that an O.J. Simpson got pinched back in 1996 for robbery with use of a deadly weapon. According to the arrest report, this O.J. held up a restaurant delivery guy along with two pals, taking cash, some keys ... and even the "exceptionally large" amount of food he ordered. That's stealing your cake and eating it too!

Was O.J. pulling small-change delivery guy stickups in Vegas before his raid on a Sin City hotel room?

Well, unless O.J. -- the Juice, that is -- was lying about his age and weight to authorities, it's just an amazing coincidence! This Orenthal J. was born in 1977, whereas his more famous namesake is thirty years older. And this O.J. lists his weight at a mighty 370 pounds; we know that Juice has put on some chunk over the years, but not that much.

Of course, it didn't work out so well for Orenthal the younger, who pleaded guilty to the crime and was sentenced to five years in the slammer.

18. Does anyone also remember this....................On March 8, 2004, Satellite television network DirecTV Inc. accused Simpson in a Miami federal court of using illegal electronic devices to pirate its broadcast signals. The El Segundo, California-based company later won a US$25,000 judgment, and Simpson was ordered to pay US$33,678 in attorneys' fees and costs

21. Yo #15 you say we as a "hole makes a big deal" when the perp is black and excuses for whites. What about the Tawana Brawley case and the Duke LaCrosse players? Why is it when a black is the victim of whites, we make a big deal about it, and you never hear anything when whites are the victims of blacks. I'm so sick of people like you making OJ out as the victim of whites who can't stand to see a successful black man. Give me a break. OJ is a waste of a sperm and an egg.

25. Don't convict the man untill he is proven whether he is or not guilty. I think we haven't heard everything. The truth has not come out yet. He used poor judgement in this case which made him look bad.

30. Couldn't have said it better myself, katnhat. I think back to OJ and his college days and all the success he had after that. He had almost everything a person would want, except for Nicole. Other news reports on this person since the trial was over have stated that police have been called to his residence for domestic problems with the new girlfriend who happens to look a great deal like his ex-wife. If they plead him any way other than an insanity plea, he's sure to do life (I hope), but what person in his right mind, whose face is known all over the world would break into a room with drawn guns and take something that isn't his - or even if it is his - couldn't he have accomplished geting his things back legally?
