Pam Anderson Gets Boarded

The fabulous glamor that is Pam Anderson was snapped at the CVS Pharmacy in Malibu on Wednesday, looking like $6 worth of "Where am I, nurse?!" It's re-tool time!

Pam interrupted her morning beauty regimen (the crews and scaffolding had to wait) to make a barefoot dash for some poster board -- no doubt rescuing a last minute assignment for one of her kids. Thanks, mom!

Pam continues her run with magician Hans Klok at Planet Hollywood in Vegas. Make this look disappear!

136. Does Malibu have magic dirt that only sticks to feet and not shoes? If not, why is walking in a store barefoot less sanitary than walking in a store with shoes? If she has no problem getting her own soles dirty, why should you? It doesn't affect ANYONE ELSE in the store AT ALL.

And really, would you have to stare at the ground with every single step? Unless Malibu is a dumping ground for all the broken glass and rusty nails in the world, I imagine you could scan several a few yards ahead of you at a time and see what places to avoid.

137. Stop getting on her case about being barefoot. Some people just prefer it & you're simply ignorant & uneducated on the subject if you say it's unsanitary, hillbilly, or illegal. See?: www.artoftouchny.com/barefoot.

138. I love going bare foot. A PODIATRIST once told me that going barefott is good for you. Loosen up, people. I don't think anyone ever died from going barefoot. BTW, Pam, you look cute as a button. Lol, so much hate because someone walked into a damn store barefoot. Sex helps the uptightness people. Try it, and maybe you won't be so angry about someone walking barefoot. This is the most ridiculous crap I've read in my life.

139. I am going to assume most of you do not live in California. I do live in California and here people going barefoot is not uncommon.
Also I need to point out that it is not illegal nor is there any law here that says you can't go barefoot in a store.

I could never figure out the people who say they don't want to see someone's feet when they are barefoot but if they are wearing flipflops which shows just as much feet minus a thin strap are perfectly fine.

Bottom line is I live in California and I go Barefoot all the time and if not I wear sandals. I NEVER WEAR CLOSED SHOES!

The reason being is for all you people who say eww and germs think about something.
Germs live and breed in a damp, hot environment. Closed shoes are Warm and Damp.
Shoes are filled with germs. There are more germs inside your shoes then are on the ground and the ones on the ground. There was a study I read a while back that said shoes had more germs them a public restroom but that's one place I won't go barefoot.

I guess being from California I just share a different culture then people from other places in this country.

140. It is great that Pamela can go barefoot into CVS --kudos. With so many personal freedoms being abridged, wonderful that she can free her feet. It makes sense that she is up to date on the latest health and fitness, so knows the best footwear: bare.

141. Pam is just a real person like the rest of us. Only her face is seen by millions. She cares for her kids personally which is better than alot of parents. Way to go Pam! BTW, walking barefoot is healthier than wearing shoes. Bare feet don't pick up germs on the ground and they don't get deformed like feet in shoes get. Keep it real Pam.

142. #121 - "So tell me, B Frank, if dumb@ss steps on some broken glass in an aisle and cuts her BARE FEET, who do you think she is going to sue?"

Your question is based on a faulty premise. But to answer:

(1) What are the chances of there being broken glass in an aisle? Practically none. People who never go barefoot seem to always think there is broken glass all over the place - there's actually very little of it around, and you certainly are not going to find it in a CVS store aisle.
(2) Even if there were, stepping on broken glass will not necessarily cut the foot of a barefoot person. I walk on it all the time barefoot and have never been cut. It's only hazardous if there are large shards sticking up.
(3) And even if there were, anybody that goes barefoot on a regular basis is always aware of where they are stepping. Avoiding something dangerous when barefoot is easy.
(4) Who do I think she is going to sue? Well, probably nobody. Why should she? She's the one barefoot so it's her responsibility. It's called contributory negligence. Most lawyers probably wouldn't even take such a case, and if one did get to court, it would likely be thrown out. Can you find even one court case on record where a barefoot person successfully sued a store for injury to a foot? You won't find any.

"Just because something isn't a LAW as you so point out, doesn't mean someone should follow just common good sense, not to mention HUMAN DECENCY by putting on shoes."

I really don't understand your mindset here. Going barefoot is just normal and natural. I think human decency has more to do with not judging what other people look like or wear or don't wear when it's really none of your concern.

"No one wants to see her feet."

Are you the spokesperson every other person in the world? I don't think so. Maybe you don't want to see her feet, but a lot of people do. She has beautiful feet, just like the rest of her body.

145. it seems that real expensive cream's they use in hollywood just aint cutting it...maybe she needs to eat more meat, thats wat god put it here for!!!

147. #145 - I think her feet look fine, but if you find them less than perfect it's because of her many years of wearing shoes, especially "fashionable" high heels. Shoes ruin feet. There are practically NO foot problems in our modern-day society that are not caused by shoes. If people always went barefoot, podiatrists would be out of business.

148. I grew up in Agoura Hills which is a few miles inland of Malibu and spent every summer day at the Malibu and Zuma beaches. Most of the time I would leave the house barefoot on my way to the beach. Me, my friends or anyone else I saw barefoot never stepped on anything dangerous or gross. There was ablolutely not problem walking barefoot. And we also walked around in just our t-shirts and swimming suites. For those people who are so critical of Pam, take a chill pill. Agoura, Malibu, and the rest of Los Angeles is far from being Hillbilly. SoCal is just laid back. Peace. Out!

149. #143 - Strange how you quote the Bible to justify your criticism of how another person looks. Note the Bible also says, "Judge not, that ye be not judged."

#147 - SoCal isn't the only place in this country that's laid back and tolerant of others and the way they choose to dress. Most people in the South and Southeast wouldn't make a big deal out of someone choosing to be barefoot. I've found the most intolerant people to live in the Northeast U.S. And it seems like younger people, teens etc, as a group nowadays are the most intolerant and unaccepting of anyone that doesn't conform - like sheep following along with everybody else, afraid to be different. It was just the opposite a few years ago, it was the young people who rebeled against conformity - they went barefoot in public to the shock of their elders. Non-conformists and rebels were looked up to - now they're condemned and made fun of. What happened to free thinking, individuality, and freedom of choice?
