Avril Ramona Lavigne celebrated her 23rd birthday a few days early last night at Koi -- and invited paparazzi to join in the festivities.

Lavigne, who's known around TMZ for spitting at photogs instead of posing for them, was actually friendly with paps outside the sushi den, and included them in her b-day scrap book.

Not only did a pink tiara-wearing Avril pose for pics, she also took selfies with the photogs and even a few shots of them alone. Who is this pink-streaked girl and what has she done with the real Lavigne?! They're the spitting image of each other!

24. #9 Avril rocks: she doesn't write her own songs. Like so many 'talented' people in the entertainment industry, they pay a lot of money to be able to put their names on the songwriters list after each song on their album sleeve. CNN interviewed a genuine songwriter who writes for a lot of the big stars, and essentially said as much. Songwriters, in order to get their names out there, generally have to sell out and allow the person who's singing their song to put their name down as the songwriter, when in fact all they probably did was change 'and' to 'the' in the lyrics. Avril Lavigne was cited as one of those stars. She's not a songwriter.

29. Avril is the biggest poser in music. She starts off trying to me edgy and punk, but she is really just some made up little rich girl.
