Patti LaBelle Goes OFF on a Fan!

The young man was very close to LaBelle, when she jokingly told the Kansas City audience, "He was dancing too close to me!" The fan then said, "I think you wanted it more than I did!" The audience roars with laughter, but the look on Ms. LaBelle's face shows she's not amused!

Miss LaBelle went LaBallisitic!

She tells the frightened man, "I don't play that, okay? Do you know who I am?" and reminds the fan he's not at a Lil' Kim concert! Oooh, yes she did! She then snatches the microphone and kicks him off the stage!

The audience began to tell the miffed LaBelle that he didn't mean it, and Miss L quipped, "He didn't mean it? Just like Britney Spears didn't mean it the other night!" Patti proved that she can insult as she pleases, but no one better step to her! Daaaamn, diva!

211. Right on Ms Patti! No one's going to disrespect her. Good for her for taking a stand and setting things straight. Many don't realize that Ms Patti is in her early 60's and she don't play.

And contrary to what was written about all gays, well i'm gay and I don't act like that. Please stop generalizing, don't put folks in a box so that you know how to deal with them. Step outside the box. Take care.

212. Patti LaBelle should be ashamed. After all these years in the business, she obviously believes the Hollywood hype about how important she is. She is a washed up nobody and should have apologized to her fan, who SHE invited on stage. Very unprofessional.

216. Respect means purchasing a ticket to hear a singer sing. The minute the guy, and the rest of the audience paid for a ticket.....they showed their respect right then and there. Too bad Patti didn't respect them in return by actually providing them with what they paid for: a singer who spends her time singing, without not engaging in a temper tantrum followed by a lecture on the proper way to treat demanding women!

As for as lecturing others on how to treat women....A singer like Patti Labelle, who sings about prostitutes and one-night-stands.....is the last person I'd take moral instruction from!

225. You go Patti! People need to recognize. Most of the comments I read on this site sound like haters. They didn't like you before this incident so don't expect them to like you afterwards.

Mr. suit should have been honored to have been called up on stage with you. Therefore he should have behaved himself. Just because we feel something about someone does not mean we have to announce it in public.
