Patti LaBelle Goes OFF on a Fan!

The young man was very close to LaBelle, when she jokingly told the Kansas City audience, "He was dancing too close to me!" The fan then said, "I think you wanted it more than I did!" The audience roars with laughter, but the look on Ms. LaBelle's face shows she's not amused!

Miss LaBelle went LaBallisitic!

She tells the frightened man, "I don't play that, okay? Do you know who I am?" and reminds the fan he's not at a Lil' Kim concert! Oooh, yes she did! She then snatches the microphone and kicks him off the stage!

The audience began to tell the miffed LaBelle that he didn't mean it, and Miss L quipped, "He didn't mean it? Just like Britney Spears didn't mean it the other night!" Patti proved that she can insult as she pleases, but no one better step to her! Daaaamn, diva!

76. Just because you are a fan doesn't give you the right to make anyone uncomfortable. She felt uncomfortable and like any older black woman she demanded her space and respect. Damn jump off her back, she has mad talent (way more than half of these so called singers) and has been in the game for a long as time and im glad she has the balls to say how she feels. Go PATTI!!

I can't believe people will still actually pay money to see this has been perform songs that are over 30 years old. If I was that guy, I would have demanded a full re-fund from her right then and there and then walked out. Do you know who I am?? What kind of narcissistic response is that? "MISS" Patti LaBelle, get over yourself and just be happy that there are schmucks out there willing to pay to see your old ass.

78. Too many meds, classic symptoms! -- and then celebrity self-worship on top of that. That poor little fan and his harmless joke, he was made to apologize, but the goddess LaBelle should have been made to apologize to everyone for behaving exactly like Caligula. What gets me is that celebrities get obscenely rich for indulging in this kind of behavior. I think they should have reversed the usual procedure and PAID each member of the audience to sit through such a performance.

Her conduct was most certainly not that of a lady. She talked trash like a schoolyard brat. She certainly wasn't dignified and elegant, the hallmarks of a true lady.

What a bitch to treat a fan like that! Not even just someone on the street waiting outside of Koi or whatever for an autograph, but someone who actually payed money to see her a$$ in concert...! She should lick his a_hole for that alone, I mean, who wants to buy tickets for Patti LaBelle and then get humiliated for it?? Totally inappropriate behavior on her part, cause that poor guy was not only NOT dancing too close to her, but his comment seemed to be just a teasing joke. What a c*nt! I'm surprised the whole audience didn't walk out after that, I certainly would have...
