In a bewildering move, mama Britney spent custody time with son Sean Preston yesterday ... in shopping and paparazzi mecca Robertson Blvd.
While it's lovely to see her with one of her kids, bringing him to one of the most photographed places in L.A. probably wasn't the best idea. She might as well take him to Winston's!
Sean hid his face as Britney tried to shush the paparazzi swarm outside the AG store. Sorry, sonny, mama's gotta shop! Once inside, Spears changed clothes and was spotted sucking on her son's pacifier. Yep, Britney sucks.
271. Regarding the paparazzi "bothering" her - - it is a well known FACT that Britney alerts them as to where she will be &/or when she will be leaving.
Think about it, why else would they be EVERYWHERE? Other more important celebrities know how to avoid this.

Because you can't tell me that all of these immature comment's are coming from grownups!!!!!!!!!! If Britney Spears had took her son too the park you still would be critisizing her no matter were she goes you will still say dumb things... 273. Doodlebug -- Awesome assessment. I came to TMZ to see if there was real scoop on Britney. I do not think she is a bad mom. I would hate for my every moment to be photographed. As a parent of 4 I know I have made mistakes. Half of the time it is the Paparazzi's fault that things happen. When there are 40 photograhers swarming you and you are trying to shop with your child it is ridiculous. Leave the poor girl alone!!! I realize that fame has a price but at this rate, she will end up dead like Princess Diana.

I am compairing the fact that paparazzi are always around her and she could be killed. That is the only comparison I was making. I have never been a Britney fan (although my 20 Year old daughter was at one time) but I am so tired of hearing all the negative about her. How about a kudos that she had her son with her when she went shopping.... How about a kudos that she asked the paparazzi not once, not twice, but 6 times to move back before she ever got her son out of the car. Did they comply? No. Fame does have its price but cut the girl some slack.

BTW, I am educated and hold two degrees from a major university. My husband is also highly educated. I left a lucrative high paying job to stay home and rise our children (by choice and I am lucky to have that choice). We live in an exclusive and highly desirable suburb of Los angeles, we own our home. Where I live there are no Wal-Marts for miles. I am not fat. And Yes, I actually do read NEWSPAPERS, both the LA and NY Times regularly. But most importantly I have something Britney and many others do not. I have good parents who raised me well and gave me a solid foundation. I know who I am, I have a sense of values and character; trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring, compassion, and citzenship. My parents also provided me with opportunities to enrich and grow as a person and find my way to being a well adjusted and productive member of society (again, I knowI am lucky) Now, my focus is on what is best for my children and family.
I am not jealous of Britney. I actually feel very sorry for her, her life is a mess and she can't seem to find her way out. If she wasn't a complete f-up at this point in her life, we would not be watching her self destruct and she would not be in the trouble she is in.
BTW, TMZ is just a guilty pleasure. Stop taking it so seriously, get a life.

281. Britney Spears must have some type of ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT. She never really had a childhood, never experienced life in the cronological order that most young people do. She was such a money maker for her family (who were of megar means - lets face it). Kids in show business get only 3 or 4 hours of studies if that daily when on set. And often find they can not go back into the regular school sysytem - missing that part of life all together. It's sad, many child stars have massive problems being adults, the list is too long to name. Yes, some make it out OK, but most do not.
Someone needs to tell this woman NO and mean it. She needs serious phycolgical therapy to try and undo all the damage of her life.
Fame and fortune do not always make for a happy life. Isnt she sad to watch? Her children make me sad too, what kind of normalcy will they ever have with her?
People on this site are often vicious to her, and others that comment if they like her or not. Look at and read how #279 T posts. That's disgusting. Kitty is right get some intelligencxe will ya. I think that a well educated stay at home mom who has a good sense about her is better for her kids and society then a mom with no education, alcohol and drug problems that can't seem to function (there are a lot out there too) with some amount of normalcy.
