The faded little downtown area of Clearwater, Florida, has a beauty salon, a pizza parlor and one or two run-down bars, as well as a bunch of withered bungalows and some old storefronts that look as if they haven't seen customers in years. There are few cars and almost no pedestrians. There are, however, buses -- a fleet of gleaming white and blue ones that slowly crawl through town, stopping at regular intervals to discharge a small army of tightly organized, young, almost exclusively white men and women, all clad in uniform preppy attire: khaki, black or navy-blue trousers and crisp white, blue or yellow dress shirts. Some wear pagers on their belts; others carry briefcases. The men have short hair, and the women keep theirs pulled back or tucked under headbands that match their outfits. No one crosses against the light, and everybody calls everybody else "sir" -- even when the "sir" is a woman. They move throughout the center of Clearwater in tight clusters, from corner to corner, building to building.....

Dana, We rarely see Shiloh smiling in pap photos because the crazy paps are following her around screaming her name to get her attention. She's only 14 months and confused at the madness. ANY 14 month old would have that look of confusion of their face ... mouth open and staring in direction of the photogs .. in photos taken in the middle of that madness.

Incidentally, there ARE photos of her smiling on Just Jared; photos taken of her at the petting zoo with AJ and on the boat with the whole Pitt-Jolie broad. The difference with these photos are she's looking at/smiling at the things that she's doing -- rather than being screamed at by the photogs.

If the photogs were chasing and screaming at Suri, or any or baby, all the photos would also look the same. No smiles ... just a look of confusion, as she's trying to figure out the whole madness of the situation (in the mind of a toddler).

36. Just Jared is run by Brad and Angie, as are so many other pseudo websites pretending to be legitimate blogs but really just Brand and Angie owned blogs. And the paps "follow" them because they call the paps, just like Tom does, because they are promoting a movie right now and need to haul out the kids for publicity photos. When the movie bombs, Brad and Angelina will zip out of this country and Angie will split, like she always does, to do anything but stay home with Brad and the kids. When Tom is done, they will head back to America where Katie's indoctrination and mind control classes will resume.

#34...EXACTLY, plus Surui has been taught by her media whore parents to WAVE at the paps, that's all she did while they were at that wedding a few months ago.

tom and katie are has-beens, the Jolie-Pitts are the hot ticket right now. When Katie was in Paris the locals barely took notice, and it looked like she had one HIRED photographer following her around. No one is interested in them anymore.....the freak factor has worn thin and everything about them is fake and everyone knows it so they're BORING

The Jolie-Pitts 'own' Just Jared. I like that, that's a good one -- that's ridiculous.

I don't question that celebs handlers do call the paps when a good photo-op is some helpful PR. However, if you've ever happened to have been in the eye of the storm when between a pap frenzy and celeb -- you know it's absolute madness. It's simply not necessary for them to be screaming at the kids, the kids (particulary the babies) of any celeb at any time.

I'd bet AJ, and/or any celeb with kids who's hunted by the paps this much, tries to turn the madness of the experience into a game for the kids, ie: who spots a pap, much the old game on a road trip of who spots a vw bug.

As far as Brad's movie (Jesse James) bombing. ? .. I seriously doubt that, it looks/sounds like it is going to be really good. Can't wait to see it.

On the other hand, I wouldn't be suprised that the movie tom's working on will be a bomb. I, and many other people I know, won't see a movie he's in -- simply because of
'him' and his craziness .... Don't want to financially support the cult known as scientology

Agreed that when back in the states that the mind control of katie is scheduled to resume ..... though, i'd bet if she can figure out a way to get of this situation AND be able to take her daughter with her, then she will plan her escape in the near future. She looks completely miserable in photos as of late.

42. Seriously, does anyone believe that this is really an innocent family get together? Her parents absolutely despise Tom Cruise....I would too if I were her parents. Her Mom probably wishes she had never helped her get to Hollywood. To have your youngest child, muchless any child, run off with a man who is rumored to be gay, who acts like a control freak, and is almost twice her age has got to be hurtful for any parent. If that's not enough, after only a couple of months knowing him, she denounces her religion, family, and friends.....well, it has got to be absolutely heartbreaking for them. And what friggin timing. They're obviously in their late fifties, empty nest, and just about ready to start focusing on themselves after raising so many children when their very selfish daughter, who's mesmerized by the almighty dollar and name "Cruise" turns into a fruit loop. No, it's not an innocent family vacation...they are in Germany because they haven't seen their daughter in a very long time, they are very very concerned about her, and they needed to see her to find out how she is. Just my opinion.
