"Bewitched" Star Alice Ghostley Dies at 81

Alice GhostleyAlice Ghostley, who was best known for playing Esmeralda on "Bewitched" and Bernice on "Designing Women," has died at 81. Ghostley died Friday at her home in Studio City after a long battle with colon cancer and a series of strokes.

Ms. Ghostley won a Tony for best featured actress in, "The Sign in Sidney Brustein's Window." Ghostley's film credits include, "To Kill a Mockingbird," "The Graduate," "Gator" and "Grease."

Alice Ghostley was married to actor Felice Orlandi, who died in 2003, and is survived by her sister, Gladys.

93. This lady was THE BOMB! She really knew how to make one laugh...That show had a lot of good comedians on it, I would make sure I got home from school in time to watch...We don't know when or how, but we have got to leave here. We all need to get our relationship in order with THE ONE, THE ONLY...THE GREAT I AM...

96. Alice Ghostley was an exceptional actress and comediane who was underated and should have won a special emmy for her role on Designing Women. I will miss her on television but we will always have Designing Women, Bewitched, and her legacy of movies that continue to play to this day to remind us of her tremendeous talent and laughter she brought to so many and I thank you for sharing it with us. Peace.

97. I liked her very much ,she did a lot of cameos on different sitcom such as good times,sandfordand son she was well entertainer and truly will be miss.
