Barack and Beyonce -- Crazy in Love

Move over Obama Girl, Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama's got a new girl on his mind. It turns out he's pretty into bootylicious Beyonce.

On a recent campaign stop in Creston, Iowa, Obama was asked what his top tunes were, according to CNN. It turns out rockin' Barack's a big fan of old soul and new pop -- he even likes some of the new songs the young whippersnappers like!

Said Obama, "I tell you what. I can tell you the kinds of stuff that I love dancing to...I'm sort of of the generation of Stevie Wonder and 'Earth, Wind and Fire."

But Barack's also a big Beyonce fan. "I'm sort of hip to the younger stuff. You know, like Beyonce's 'Crazy in Love.' That's a good song to dance to."

46. # 14- I have a high-self-esteem . Just because someone says something negative that doesn't mean that they have a low -self-esteem. I'm beautiful. I was only teling the truth. Barack is a classy man and should listen to someone classy like Al Jarreau. Beyonce is the one with a low-self -esteem. Her songs are wack, she wishes that she was Latina, is jealous of Ashanti, and she's a ho. Thin women are beautiful, my fiance told me that. I'm thin.

47. You are all funny with your remarks of Beyonce's weight......she looks healthy which is much more than you can say to the likes of Paris Hilton and others like Paris.

48. Beautiful black women come in all shapes, sizes, and colors. Light, dark, and medium. It shouldn't matter.

52. Man, O man. It is strange that someone as beautiful, and talented as Byonce could be belittled and criticized. It is the psychological behavior of those of us who ar jealous of who she is. She is precious; and adds so much to life when she performs. She is human, therefore not perfect. The world would suffer a great loss without her and her wonderful family. Give the sister all the love that is due her.

53. Things begin to shift when Beyonce is glued too tight and Obama might be surprised to discover what lies beneath her beauty.

56. I like Obama. Instead of criticizing what he has already heard, let's just suggest he find exposure to more music; we all could learn from other artists. EVERYONE: listen to the group LADYSMITH BLACK MAMBAZO; just heard them live tonight. Check them out! Their themes of unity, peace, and their story of rising above apartheid make some of tonight's comments, (such as trying to slice and dice how black or white Obama is) petty and small by comparison.

57. Very irresponsible 'journalism' (MUST add the quotes here). The headline insinuates something and all he did was say he liked a popular song.

58. Due to the fact that he is not 100% African American, how could he be "black enough"? His mother is white. Why is it that bi-racial people are automatically branded "black"?
