Celebrity Justice
Nick Hogan Pleads to Speeding Ticket

TMZ has learned Nick Hogan has pleaded no contest to going double the speed limit. This particular traffic stop occurred just over two weeks before the 17-year-old crashed his Toyota Supra, seriously injuring a friend.

Hogan was popped August 10 when a Pinellas Park police officer saw him speeding through a construction zone.

This morning, a judge ordered the absent Hogan to pay the maximum fine of $1,000, and to complete a 12-hour Driver Improvement course within 90 days. Hogan was also found guilty of failing to wear a seatbelt and fined $73.50.

17. That sucks that this idiot gets off with barely any punishment. When are the courts going to stop letting these spoiled brats that are either celebrities, children of celebrities, or wealthy individuals from getting away with practically murder? Its wrong. He should be fined up that wazoo, and have his license suspened until he is 25, and the cops that let him off without tickets should be suspended without pay.

I want to know why special priveleges were given to a 17 yr old driving well over the speed limit like that? He could have killed somebody. He could have lost control, and plowed into a group of people. Is that what these cops were waiting for? For him to plow into a group of people at 100 miles an hour? Is that what his parents are waiting for before they stop handing him these types of vehicles? Shame on the Hogans!!!!!!

18. This kid is such a spoiled brat!! His friend is lying in a hospital with severe injuries and Nick is trying to get the car back to prevent any searches of the car. His beast of a sister is just as spoiled and selfish as he is!

19. He didn't plead guilty, he pleaded no contest and the judge adjudicated him guilty. In other words, he didn't take any responsibility. Instead, the judge decided he was guilty.

22. Maybe they should hire a body guard for Nick. Looks like he needs one. I hope the parents of the young man hire a attorney and sue.

25. Are you people really that stupid? You think that he is getting "celebrity treatment" because of the fine and all but if they took everything away from him then he really would be getting "special treatment". You are all so self-riteous but we all know that if you had done the same thing then you would want exactly what he got. Grow up... you are no better than he.

28. I live in Clearwater and am appalled that someone with this many traffic stops at going over 100mph is still allowed to keep his driving priviliges. Shows what money can buy you. If this was some poor blue collar worker, they would of pulled his license . I am disgusted.

29. Another case of NO TALENT offsprings ( Brooke & Nick) of famous people being pushed on us by their parents. Parents are supposed to be proud of their kids. But if the kids have no real talent, realize this and get them a good education and be proud of that. You're just teaching them that money is God. Nick is turning into a real piece of dunnage. He will never take responsibility for anything as long as daddy dearest pays his way out of everything. Lets get him another Viper to wreck so he can pose as a driver with the rest of the REAL drivers. How sad for the Hulkster. He's been faking it in the ring so long, he doesn't recognize reality. I don't mean that in a bad way...............hahahaha
