Nick Hogan Pleads to Speeding Ticket

TMZ has learned Nick Hogan has pleaded no contest to going double the speed limit. This particular traffic stop occurred just over two weeks before the 17-year-old crashed his Toyota Supra, seriously injuring a friend.

Hogan was popped August 10 when a Pinellas Park police officer saw him speeding through a construction zone.

This morning, a judge ordered the absent Hogan to pay the maximum fine of $1,000, and to complete a 12-hour Driver Improvement course within 90 days. Hogan was also found guilty of failing to wear a seatbelt and fined $73.50.

32. Well it is so reassuring that the little SOB had his day in court...and still he drives...and still the whole damn bunch of them go on with their joke of the all- American family, where Hogan Knows Best. They all make me sick and for those of you who live in Clearwater...you have my sympathy. What a bunch of asses they are...Terry, Linda, Brooke and Nick, you are so sick...each and every one of you. Justice, right. But then John just bumped his head, and he is waking up, in the words of Hogan's spawn. Bunch of ignorant SOB's.

33. Nick Hogan will be forgotten all about before long after the so called reality series Hogan Knows Best is off for good. He pleaded no contest for the accident & should do a little jail time to be honest.

34. If Hulk and Linda really wanted to do what's right they would have made Nick go to court for his hearing and take the publicity, i'm sure reporters were there waiting, but make him show up in person and take responsibility for himself. of couse it would not have been easy, but it would have been the RIGHT thing to do. As far as I can seen they have done nothing but shelter him from these problems he has caused, like Hulk going on TV and saying " Well I'm just thankful that he wasn't speeding". That made that family look dumber than they already did! They are not doing Nick any favors by not forcing him to stand up like a man and take responsibility for his actions. If your man enough to double the speed limit(in a construction zone) and man enough to race down a city street..... then be man enough to take responsibility for what you did. Don't hide like a whipped puppy when your actions are caleed in to account.

35. Hey, someone find us the name of this judge so those of us who have to drive the same streets as this punk can write to him in protest. Somthing needs to be done here!

36. Another case of NO TALENT offsprings ( Brooke & Nick) of famous people being pushed on us by their parents. Parents are supposed to be proud of their kids. But if the kids have no real talent, realize this and get them a good education and be proud of that. You're just teaching them that money is God. Nick is turning into a real piece of dunnage. He will never take responsibility for anything as long as daddy dearest pays his way out of everything. Lets get him another Viper to wreck so he can pose as a driver with the rest of the REAL drivers. How sad for the Hulkster. He's been faking it in the ring so long, he doesn't recognize reality. I don't mean that in a bad way...............hahahaha

37. No Contest is the chickens#%t way of admitting guilt. It's what a weakling does. It's what an OJ would do.

A MAN, a real man, stands up, admits culpability and accepts the consequences.

38. That whole Hogan family is a lot like The Beverly Hillbillies.

Hulk = Jed
Linda = Granny
Brooke = Ellie Mae
Nick = Jethro ..the Jethro comparison is dead-on

39. The kid should not be driving at all! Shame on his parents for encouraging his street racing....after several tickets at age 17 they should of made him ride a bike! I'm sure the parents are keeping close to the injured boy just to not have a huge lawsuit thrown at them......Again Shame on mom and dad!

42. Nick Hogan is an imbecile; guess it's finally time to grow up whether he likes it or not.

43. Nicki didn't have the back bone to show up to court. The judge decided the sentence. Why he is still being allowed to drive is beyond me. Mommy and Daddy had him stay home, so they can see if Brooke is showing too much skin. And, of course, spy on her!!!

So, The Hulk must have done his practice wrestling moves on her too, as both those kids have brain damage. She still lives at home with THEM. (or maybe he fed them is drugs)

44. IF YOU LIVE IN CLEARWATER, YOU BETTER BE PROTESTING TO THE JUDGE -- PUNK-RETARDO-BOY IS PROBABLY GOING TO BE RIGHT BACK OUT, TERRORIZING YOUR STREETS AGAIN A.S.A.P, IMO.
