Tyson Bites at Plea Deal

Mike Tyson has pleaded guilty to one count each of drug possession and DUI charges.

The 41-year-old former heavyweight champion of the world was arrested last year in Arizona, after police say they found bags of cocaine in his back pocket and another bag in a pack of cigarettes in his car.

In exchange for the guilty plea, the Maricopa County D.A. dropped two other charges of DUI and possession.

He'll be back in court for sentencing on November 19.

16. In response to FIBiker, I would rather euthanize George W. Bush who has done more damage to this country than Mike Tyson and a thousand like him could scarcely imagine doing. On another note, while I do not know Mike Tyson personally, I do personally know some of the people that do know him. There's a human side to Tyson--he's no Elvis giving away Cadillacs, but he's been known to be generous with his money to many people who had no reason to expect anything from him. That's the story that never gets printed.

I don't know much about bags of cocaine, but I'm going to hunt that little Mikey Tyson down and sit him in the corner just like I did in the 6th grade, where he'll have to write 'Cigarettes are bad' 10,000 times. If I find that these bags of Cocaine are not prescription, he will be marched down to the Abbey by the ear where he will be doing the dishes in a pretty pink apron for 30 days straight; breakfast, lunch and dinner.
