Accident Kills "Dark Knight" Crew Member

A special effects technician was killed Monday in an accident during London production of the latest Batman film "The Dark Knight."

Warner Bros. said the unidentified crew member died when a truck carrying a camera platform crashed into a tree while following a stunt vehicle. Filming on the movie was not taking place at the time, and no actors were involved in the accident.

The studio issued a statement saying the producers, cast and crew "are deeply saddened by this tragedy and their hearts and prayers go out to the family and loved ones of the deceased."

16. Shawna, I get what you were doing because I thought the same thing. Mentioning that no actors were hurt was a bit pointless and seemed stupid, when they could have easily said "no one else was injured". Some people are just clueless (donna and your wierd CAPS talk, but I am not mentioning any names) . Its unfortunate that this accident had to happen at all. God bless his or her family.

Next time you should educate yourself and come up with something better. This post is about sharing thoughts and condolenses to someone who very unfortunately passed away.

I hate reading these comments from people who all say that their thoughts and prayers are with the family... give me a break!!!! your self-righteous comments aren't going to make them feel better... heck they'll never even know that you wrote them. The only reason people even write that garbage is to make themselves look and feel better. No one honestly cares. So please, GET OVER YOURSELF. and please spare me the "shame on me" comments.
