Full 911 Tape in Clooney Accident

Oceans 911! TMZ has obtained a tape of the 911 call made after George Clooney wrecked his Harley in New Jersey. Watch out for the face!
Clooney audio
Time: 4 mins., 08 secs.
Clooney and girlfriend-of-the-moment Sarah Larson were riding his hog on Friday, when cops say he collided with another car. He was treated for a hairline rib fracture and road rash, while Miss Larson suffered a broken foot.

The person making the call doesn't know Clooney was involved in the accident. The dispatcher seems really confused, not understanding it was a motorcycle incident and two people are on the ground.

You can faintly hear Clooney and Sarah in the background during the last part of the tape.

47. I'm so jealous of that girl!!!! She's not even that attractive and she's dating someone really hot like George Clooney! It won't be too long before George leaves her, he's not into long term relationships or marriage!

48. Maybe they're renting call centers outside the US, I've read months ago about this, that companies are doing this, using call center companies from India and other english speaking countries, this obviously is ridiculous and instead of costing them money, could cost someone's life

50. What you need to understand about NJ EMS dispatching is that there are numerous towns within short distances. In this specific area, Blvd. East stretches through the towns of North Bergen, Guttenburg, West New York, Weehawken, Union City, and ends at Hoboken, a stretch of over 10 miles. Each of these towns have police and EMS services along with dispatchers. If the call is received in one town through 9-1-1, but it's in another jurisdiction that help is needed, the dispatcher has to pass the call over to the appropriate town for them to send assistance. It's a horrible redundance, but the way things are done here in NJ. A state with over 600 municipal governments for only 522 towns/cities. And people wonder why our taxes are the highest in the nation :)

52. The 911 OPERATOR SHOULD BE FIRED....THERE WAS WAY TOO MUCH STALLING AND YOU COULD HEAR THE ANGER IN THE OPERATOR....VERY VERY UNPROFESSIONAL !! IF THIS HAD BEEN A LIFE AND DEATH SITUATION, THE PERSON WOULD HAVE HAD TO DIE BEFORE GETTING ANY HELP !! FIRE THAT 911 OPERATOR IMMEDIATELY !!! THE PERSON CALLING FOR HELP WAS MORE THAN PATIENT AND SHOULD PRESS CHARGES FOR ALL THE STALLING !!!!!

53. Absolutely ridiculous!!! Just send an ambulance already and stop asking for the same information over and over and over. Someone should sue the city or the county for not having properly trained 911 operators.

54.
I didn't know they were hiring off the short bus for 911 operators now.
over and over again we hear this same situation as someone try's to answer their questions, they are made to repeat them as if the person calling was the one slow!
I think this is more common then not and I am just going to give info one time and hang up if I ever come across it. they get people frustrated then tell them to calm down!
Are they out sourcing 911 over seas now? This would explain a lot.

55. George Clooney is very good looking, likes to keep his life private, and is a super nice guy in person. I met him eight years ago at an event in the beautiful state of Ky. He was so nice and down to earth. I'm so happy that he was not killed and that they both just received minor injuries. He is a great guy that just keeps improving with age. He started in Hollywood with nothing and has worked his butt off for everything he has. I hope he marries in the future so that he can leave his good genes in some beautiful children, boys and girls. Some people are just so jealous of what others have. Wishing you a long life George. So glad you are from Kentucky. We love you!!!!!

58. In my city if a 911 call is made on a land line it goes straight to the police dept and their computer shows the address. If made on a cell phone it goes to a regional operator who will not immediately know the address or even the town

59. Are you KIDDING ME??? What kind of moron is sitting at the 911 station?? First of all, he's RUDE, second of all YOU ARE IN AMERICA, TRY SPEAKING ENGLISH. A person could be dead by the time he "gets it". I'm just appalled and shocked at this complete waste of human flesh.

60. I have previously worked as a 911 operator/dispatcher. Anytime we heard “motorcycle accident” an air medic helicopter was immediately put on standby. There was usually one of two outcomes: They were picked up by medic helicopters and barely survived OR they were thrown and were just damn lucky.

Irregardless of jurisdiction there are basic questions that are asked, help is then sent, then instructions are given. I worked in a county that had several small and mid-size cities. I have never worked with anyone having this much trouble getting basic information. Four minutes to dispatch a call like that would have ended in a firing. Large or small jurisdiction you must have an agile mind, be able to collect information quickly, and send help quickly.

What if these people had been seriously injured? It is argued among emergency personnel that the window of time for survival is 20 to 30 minutes. Tick. Tick. Tick…
