Kiefer: Once, Twice, Three, Four Times a Busted!

Kiefer Sutherland"24" star Kiefer Sutherland's DUI arrest last night isn't his first brush with the law. Or his second. Or even his third.

Kiefer plead guilty in 1989 and 1993 to reckless driving charges, and in 2004 to driving with a blood alcohol level above .08 -- the legal limit in California. It's the 2004 case for which Sutherland is currently on probation.

But things could have been a lot worse for Kiefer. The 1989 case had two gun charges tacked on -- carrying a concealed weapon in a vehicle and carrying a loaded firearm in a public place -- both of which were dismissed. The 1989 and 1993 cases both had DUI charges as well, and both were dismissed.

Kiefer got three years probation for both of those cases, the second of which fell just after the probation was up for the first. Time was on his side in that one.

49. Why is it seems the celebs allways get off easy it's not like they even pay a higher fine, be a working person and see what you get 3 years probation 2,000 dollar fine, sur charges for 3 years that cost 1500 a year, dwi classes, plus community service, get 2nd Dwi and you go straight to prison "real prison" the Pen not a few days in county jail.

50. it is a well known hollywood fact that he is a degenerate alcoholic that drinks all the time. he was always at the hollywood dive bordners drinking almost every night. this is nothing new - he's a big time boozer.

51. When are fans of 24, which I'm not, casting directors, show producers, Blair Berk and the entertainment industry in general going to stop treating DUIs like it's some big JOKE. I could care less about Kiefer, Paris, Lindsay, Britney to name a few. Of course this keeps TMZ in business.

52. I don't understand why he hasn't been deported or something of that nature. Lily Allen was kicked out of the US for far less.

53. Take his license away and get this loser off the road, sorry son. No excuse for getting popped this may times, think about all the times he wasn't popped. Get a clue and take some responsablity. How are you going to live with yourself if you injure or kill someone? Jeez, you can take a limo if you have to get plowed. Jack Baur more like Jack Boracho.

54. I like Keifer very much, but there are NO EXCUSES to drive intoxicated... NONE. He needs to go on the wagon and STAY on it; 2nd best would be to hire a driver or cab when he is out drinking.

This will certainly make it more expensive and more difficult for his projects to get the necessary insurance.

56. he seems like a nice guy but he also seems he is an alcoholic who needs helps desperately, his father should intervene and get him into rehab and not for a few weeks, it takes much longer, so he doesn't kill anyone incl. himself.

57. If Kiefer Sutherland is convicted, I hope he goes to jail for at least 3 months.

This is his FOURTH arrest for DUI. He's violated probation by driving DRUNK - AGAIN!!!

Why shouldn't he go to jail? Because he's talented? Because he won an Emmy? What does that have to do with drunk driving???

WORDS ARE CHEAP people. I'm sure he'll tell the judge he's sorry, he'll take responsibility for his actions, he'll go to rehab, he'll never do it again, blah blah blah... He is an actor! He can cry on cue!

Lane Garrison said he's sorry - and maybe he is. That boy is still DEAD!!!

He needs to be punished! You do the crime, you do the time!

58. Why do these stupid celebrites continue to drink and drive? Its not like they cant afford a cab or limo. Now he will go to rehab, pretend he is cured, and then two weeks after he is out he will be spoted at a club where he will be pretending to be drinking soda. Havent we heard this story before?

59. One Two Three Four someone show Keifer the iron bar door

60. Take away this mans right to drive already!! He clearly has a problem, and celebrities go to real rehab ,not a spa to get better, his fame and fortune is not worth someones life.I would hope the only life he would end would be his ownand not some innocent person ,so tired of someones celebrity getting them off so easy, paying out fines will not hurt him . Get them where it really impact their careers, take him off 24,easy kill him offt the show, make him seek real help for his problem,I havebeen around alcoholics and they do not care about anything or anyone in order get their alcohol.
