Madonna: Desperately Seeking Sunglasses

The 49-year-old Queen of Pop needs to get her eyes checked -- for better shades!

Madonna was spotted leaving a London restaurant on Tuesday, and despite her chic black ensemble, looked like a middle-aged raver out past her bedtime -- in a pair of wretched rose-tinted sunglasses. Ray of blight!

On a positive note, Madge's unfortunate eyewear almost distracted one from noticing her rigor mortis afflicted man-hands! Almost.

63. At least she is not trying to be 20.
I see a lot of Hollywood people who need to try on some clothes made for their age group.
Although I admit the cable knit sweater is a bit old for her even at 49 but it is most likely real cold and damp there, besides the restaurant doesn't look like a 5 star anyway.
I'm not a Madonna fan but I think TMZ dug in a dusty drawer for the pic and thought for a few days on what to write....yawn filler. .

66. Give me a break, those are not 'man hands' - those are the hands of a woman who works out, an exercise régime that makes your breakfast of crumpets and orange-juice look like the swill it's worth. Do you all not have anything better to do? She looks AMAZING, get off the pot and go do some work, j*rks.

68. This was the most stupid story/comments I have ever read! What the hell do you look like? Better yet what the hell will you (the writer and the haters) look like at 50! What ever!

69. She looks amazing, must be a fat female writer jealous and half Madonnas age...
or for that matter, a straight fat man thats jealous and half Madonnas age,
we should all be so lucky, women past 40 these day are more beautiful than ever...

70. I'd like to see any of you guys look as good as that when you reach 49...you are all a bunch of haters!

71. If you had half of Madonna's looks and/or talent, you wouldn't be so peoccupied with following her out of a restaurant after a day in which she probably accomplished twice as much as your brain can even fathom. The most you can do is make a stupid, ignorant comment about her eyewear and hands. Say something meaningful next time - you might just garner up a few more comments.

72. Madonna makes her things fabulous, not the other way around. Those glasses don't add to her status, she defines status, and she was a star when she was up from a gutter in New York. Also, maybe with the glasses did it occur that they're unique because they allow us to see her eyes? Is she letting us in?

73. she looks great. And in any case i don't think she gives a s*** what anyone thinks. And good on her. There are more important things going on in the world that need discussion rather than silly stories like this....

74. I swear, the media is so cruel its bordering on insanity. I think she looks good. Maybe to thin but very good.

PS: I also love the glasses!

75. As always, if you truly dislike someone- you don't waste time bashing them. It's ironic that people love to speak ill of Madonna or anyone for that matter, yet they take precious time out of their lives to write about them. Amusing...
