"God Warrior" Perrin's Daughter Dies in Car Crash

Marguerite Perrin, the God-obsessed shrew who infamously lost it on FOX's "Trading Spouses," after returning to her family, has lost her daughter Ashley in a car crash.
Ashley and Marguerite Perrin
Ashley Perrin, 25, was driving on Interstate 55 in Ponchatoula, La., reports the Hammond Star, when her minivan hit a guard rail. According to cops, Ashley "was ejected" from the vehicle and died at the scene, but the cause of the accident is unknown. Ashley leaves an 8-year-old daughter.

The victim's mother is best known for her "God Warrior" ranting, particularly trying to throw FOX cameras out of her house when she returned to her family, and initially refusing to accept the $50,000 prize money -- because it was "tainted" and "dark-sided."

211. #202 - It's spelled SATAN douchebag, unless there are reams of fabric trying to "devour" us.

212. 194. 181. I really wish everyone would know what they were talking about before they write it. If you lived in Ponchatoula you would have known she did have her seat belt on. This is why you should NOT be able to comment on this. You do not know what you are talking about! FYI her body was in the car buckled up but, her head was cut off!!! Think before you write and know what you are talking about.

213. Thank you for correcting my spelling. I see out of everything I wrote the only thing that caught your attention is my grammar. Sad.

215. For shame to those of you who have chosen to speak in such a ugly manner about this grieving family. Do you know this family? Of course you do not. If you did you would know that for Margaret to react in the way that she did on the first program, she must have been given a reason and finally in the safety of her own home where she knew she was loved, she let off steam, so to speak. The pain they feel at this time over the loss of Ashley is more than one should have to bear. Margaret has caused you no problems so why do you find pleasure in being such a bully towards her. This family is close and loving... could you please not add to their pain with your cruelty. It makes me sick!

218. How in the world can you people say such awful things about a mother in mourning? You should really all be deeply ashamed of yourselves. It is disgusting and classless.

219. Oh, this is really sad. Both of those daughters seemed so sweet and kind. They were very accepting of the other mom, and the little granddaughter was a doll. I feel so badly for everyone who loved this girl, especially her daughter. And so awful to have a child die before you, if you are a parent. There's nothing worse than that. She was so young. She seemed so sweet. She cried when her mother threw that fit and talked badly about the other mom. I felt so badly for her. Those girls and the dad seemed really cool. My best wishes and thoughts to the family. How awful.

221. some of the posts here are so cold and heartless. A family just lost their daughter, their sister, and more importantly a MOTHER! Where is the compassion for this grieving family? I remember the show and Ashley seemed like a very nice girl. I laughed like the rest of you because the show was comical, this however is not a situation in which anyone should make fun of. Regardless of the God Warriors crazy antics I'm sure she loves both her daughter and her granddaughter immensely, and I'm sure she is capable of caring for her. Please before you post comments on the net, take peoples feelings into consideration, and for crying out loud ... HAVE SOME COMPASSION!

Ashley and her family will be in my thoughts and prayers during this traggic life changinng event

222. I know this family and much of that whole TV scene was "acting" & edited to show what the network wanted seen-regardless-this is a very close knit family-one that outsiders can't even imagine- just think-Ashley-age 25 and her little girl were still living with her parents-Marguerite & Barry and the sister Brooke-the public really doesn't know these people and can't even begin to understand the loss they are suffering-May God protect and guide them-and may the public have mercy on them.

223. OMG!!!!! I like to know if the other trading spouse's family pay their respects to the God Warrior's family. Was there drugs, alcohol or voodoo involve? Strange and bazaar turn of events. I wonder if God Warrior hates FOX...the evil empire of Satan? See what happens when you accept the devil's hand.

225. First I would like to say that my prayers are with the Perrin family but mostly with Abigail.

Some of you come on here and post comments passing judgement on a family you don't even know. I have had the opportunity to meet this family and know that they are good people and have an extremely enormous faith in God. Mrs. Perrin might have come off as "God Warrior" but her mothering should have never been questioned. Neither should her grand-parenting. Her daughter may have had a child at 17, but how many parents can control the decisions their children make? You can't. You can only try to guide them down the correct path and know that there will be mistakes in the roadway to life. Stop making judgement on this family and start looking at your own.
