I believe it is naive to think that just because a paparazzi photo doesn't appear to be posed, that it isn't, at the very least planned and expected. She was standing outside the locker room after games last season, within weeks of the breakup announcement. Yeah, I'm sure they were both surprised at the attention that got. Just like I'm sure when they were videotaped eating in Paris the same weekend Bridget Moynahan's pregnancy was confirmed in the Post, they were eating at a window table, on street level, in her favorite restaurant. Yes, very private people, obviously. Photographed making out on a sidewalk on Boston two days after the baby was born. I'm sure they both knew that wasn't going to make any news. Both of these people have been in this business for a long time. They both know exactly what they are doing...he gave more interviews and acquired more endorsement deals this off season than any other. It certainly wasn't because he just won a superbowl.

32. The issue of Tom leaving Bridgette to be with Giselle should be left alone. All that matters at this point is that the baby is here and healthy. He will be loved by many. He will have questions when he is older that will/should be answered by Tom and Bridgette not the media hype surrounding his birth at this time.

33. She is a lady. she has kept a low profile. she did a photo shoot and the proceeds went to charity. In this day and age of Psycho Photogs, it was smart of her to do that whether than be chased down by these crazies to get a pic of her newborn. I applaud her and her strength during this time.

Brady put this in a bad light the moment he chose to see a high profile person. The week the pregnancy was announced he was seen on a romantic european vacation with Giselle. this is gossips dream come true.

I don't care how the relationship ended but any real woman who is confidant in herself would have electively chosen to not be in a relationship with a man about to have a baby with another woman. She would not want to be in that woman's situation without a man's support/help. woman like Giselle are real low. She should have stood back, let him be with Bridget during that time. If their relationship was real, he would have gone back to her eventually.

39. If anyone rememebrs... Tom & Bridget were seen fighting Thanksgiving weekend last year in Boston at a restaurant on Newbury St. about him not wanting to get married yet or have kids. A week later it was announced that they broke up. Fine, stupid of him not to see she could be trying to get pregnant already. But from everything known from people who work for the Pats, Tom didn't know until the world knew in Feb., that Bridget was pregnant. He was already w/ Giselle and in love by then. So maybe we should look at this as Bridget being the manipulator, not Tom. For God sakes what is putting your baby on the cover of a magazine under the headline "Surviving without Daddy" going to do to the kid anyways. Tom has tried to be there and Bridget has shut him out. She's a jealous chick and her biological clock was ticking.

While I don't believe in people getting married just because of a pregnancy, my problem with all of this is what exactly Gisele did to keep Bridget and Tom from coming together, making peace and enjoying the pregnancy and subsequent birth? Not marriage but learning to be friends again and co-parents. Gisele is well known for her selfishness and if she had anything to do with the fact that Bridget and Tom are no longer friends then Gisele will have a lot to answer for. I pity Gisele - hurting a child is the ultimate sin and it appears she may have committed it.

According to BM this baby was planned, until Giselle Bunchin stepped in. She was already pregnant, he is trying to play the nice daddy in public, but the truth is that he really doesn't care and GB is too pissed about it.. Listen to a marriage soon between the 2 lovebirds.
He also was rude to her family and friends. She wants to $$$$ either. So kudos for Gitte.

43. Katherine, I live in Boston, have read the Globe and Herald for years, and have followed this story. What you said in your post simply did not wring true for me. Your lies so bothered me, that I went back and did a little investigation. The only place Tom and Bridget were seen dining during Thanksgiving weekend was at Umbria on Franklin St (which is nowhere near Newbury St.), and there was absolutely no report of arguing. It was described as a "quiet dinner" and no further details were given.

As for Tom not knowing until the world knew in February, this is complete nonsense. When the story first broke, friends of Tom told the Herald that he had known for "months" about the pregnancy, which would take it back to at least mid-December. They said Tom knew about the baby during last year's post-season, but didn't let it affect him. The NY Post reported that Tom found out Bridget was pregnant around the time they broke up in December . As for the public announcement in the Post in February, I can't see why Bridget owed Tom anything here, yet she gave him a "heads up" at least as early as the afternoon before, and he chose not give a statement.

BTW, what is wrong with wanting to marry and have kids and wanting this with your boyfriend of three years this? To be honest, it would be pretty odd after all that time if she didn't! And great of Bridget to donate the OK money to charity. She must feel so fortunate to have a healthy baby when some of her friends have children with life-altering diseases. Can't imagine John would object to learning this when he gets older...he will probably be even prouder of his mom!
