1022. I think this is a part of a total breakdown.

She was young, rich, popular, reasonably attractive. Unfortunately, she was also overindulged and undereducated. She had no idea how to grow up, no self-awareness, no ability for insight. Directionless and shallow, she lost her boyfriend Justin Timberlake as he became more self-determined and focused.

She had this vague feeling of rebellion from all those years of being told "go here" and "sing that," and, from her upbringing, saw grown-ups get married (often young) and make babies. So she latches onto this guy who fills her need to rebel and to, in her immature view, grow up. He's in the business, he's got a "bad boy" (read, "Eff you Mommy and Justin") vibe about as authentic as her musical credentials, and revs her hormones.

It doesn't matter the Mommy freaks out - heck, that's just an extra reward - over her intentions to marry and breed with Kevin. She's always been indulged, so self-governance is non-existent. Her signal that it was true love was her hands trembling as she lit her post-coital Marlboro Light 100.

So her mother, deluding herself into thinking marriage and motherhood will settle Britney down, gives in and "blesses" the union. Unfortunately, her failure to guide and discipline her daughter bear rotten fruit.

Britney has never had to take care of herself, and is now responsible for two helpless children. She sees her failures mounting, feels trapped and betrayed, and falls apart. She self-medicates. That fails her, too. The world, she feels, turns on her. Feeling more alone, drugs and booze become her best friends.

She's in free-fall right now. I just hope bottom isn't a stainless steel sliding tray at the L.A. County morgue.

1023. She is an arrogant, twisted, spolied, skanky, bratty little twit. Who gives a rip that she is famous. She is not above the law as she thinks. Kids are at stake. Caring re kids is NOT, NOT, NOT being a good parent.Being responsible, obeying the law, protecting your kids, keeping them safe, NOT driving with them in your lap, IS being a decent parent. Getting some morals, staying home, putting the kids on a schedule that is for THEM, not some bare-bottomed, skanky mom's schedule, is being a parent. She is so full of herself, stupid, and she "chooses" to act like trash. No one made her. Good for the judge that he wants those kids protected. Wake up Skanky Spears.

1025. Poster ##994, no duh: part of what is wrong with the "system" is the excuse that addiction is a disease. It's not a disease, it's a choice, a lifestyle. No matter what causes it, people have a choice, get help say no to temptation or give in to your cravings and whimper that you have a disease. It's not easy but you have a choice.
We don't know that Britney is an addict but we can all plainly see that she is mentally ill and it's a proven fact that having kids can increase the symptoms of mental illness and this foolish girl had two of them back to back.

Media intend to negatives about anybody they want to. sad! it not pretty about Media.
Britany just having hard time and tough road ahead.

1035. My heart really goes out to this sad, young woman. She, in a way, reminds me of Princess Diana in that the media literally hounded her to death. That is where the parallel ends though. Britney has a need to shock people with her behavior. It is as if she is determined to be number one no matter what is takes. Kind of makes me wonder if she'll end up living in England with the other shock queen, Madonna.
