Clay Aiken Likes Bush!

16. The state of "fame" amazes me today. Here we have this bizarre looking guy getting paid a lot of money and being famous and for what? He's like a new Barry Manilow with one difference, we put up with Barry Manilow's odd looks and mannerisms because he had a ton of hit songs. What has Clay Aiken done? I mean besides getting busted for arranging gay sex on the internet? Can anybody name a song that he has sung? What's the deal?

19. TMZ trashed Jenna Bush over her book, and also just because she is George Bush's daughter. Ther eis sttill no TMZ apology. If you watched Jenna Bush and Diane Sawyer's interview Friday night then I (like Diane Sawyer) would hope any open minded person with a heart, feelings and eyes could see that Jenna Bush has done good things. She has been working with Unicef in Latin America for a year. It is so good for HIV/AIDS patients to have had her hug them and and show the world that it isn't contagious. A lot of people are still irrational about being around HIV/AIDS patients. Some people still think that you can 'catch HIV' from hugging.

20. For God's sake, leave Clay Aiken alone. I am NOT a huge fan of his but I can appreciate his talent and his generosity. He is an extraordinarily talented young man, unlike most of today's young pop singers, and he gives a lot of his time to charitable causes. He had said (early on) on a few separate occasions that he was not gay. But that didn't stop certain tabloids from continuously saying he was gay. So now he doesn't bother to talk about it. What's the point -- people are going to believe what they want to believe even if you've denied it.

Good for Clay Aiken -- once again -- for being involved in yet another charitable event.

30. Why is it that people feel they have to attack people they don't even know? This country is getting so hateful, I'm disgusted. No matter what you may think of him, he is doing something good, being an ambassador to UNICEF. We should be thankful that he is doing something good instead of getting DUI's, doing drugs, and hurting people. There are far too many horrible role models out there, Britney, Lindsay, Paris, etc. that it is nice to see there are young people who are out there doing good instead of bad.
Think about what you are saying before you blurt out your hate!
