Celebrity Justice
Judge to O.J.: Gimme Dat Watch!

O.J. SimpsonA Los Angeles judge has ruled that the Juice must hand over a fancy Rolex to the Goldman family, after they saw him wearing it on TMZ. Time is up!

At a hearing today, the judge ruled Simpson must give the watch and other assets to satisfy a judgment that found him liable for the deaths of ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend, Ron Goldman.

The judge also ruled that any future royalties from a sports video game that features #32, as well as any of the Las Vegas loot found to be legally his, be given to Fred Goldman, father of Ron.

226. Re: #223

First let me say I would never slander a grieving family menber. Second, I do have first hand knowledge of the witness list for the prosecution. Marsha Clark, Christopher Darden, and the Assistant District Attorney (who's name slips me but you may remember him having a heart attack and was not able to continue) removed several witnesses from their list because of their lifestyle and knowledge of Ron's.

Please don't be confused by my comments. I only wish to see the justice system to returned to what it was before this tragedy occured. I don't believe that any American who lived through that trial will ever forget it, just as they won't forget where they were when JFK was assassinated (I lived through it).

Most people listened to the reporters for their daily update of that trial.....I watched it live and could not believe the spin that was put on it each day. I had several people come in to my office in a downtown Los Angeles Hotel each day and watch the trial. The ones there all came up with the same verdict as the jury. Most people formed an opinion from the reporters....not from the trial. No American citizen who viewed the trial could come up with any other verdict. Unfortunately, many believe it was the wrong verdict. I'm not saying whether Simpson did or did not commit murder. I am saying the proscution did not prove it and therefore Simpson should be left alone. That's called respect of the jury system. If the Goldman's want to be upset with anyone, they should be upset with the team from the State of California and not the jurors or Simpson or his attorney's.

227. ...............Hello Georgia Girl @ 2:03pm on Oct. 3rd #206.................Georgia, since you stated that you are a 66 year old white grandmother, I believe you are due a certain amount or respect.....................However, stating your position in the world, does not lend credibility to your post..................Yes, OJ was found not guilty in the Criminal Trial...............In the Civil Lawsuit, OJ was found guilty..........This is not double jeapordy..............Read the text relating to Criminal Trials and what the "proof" has to be............Then read the text relating to Civil Lawsuit.......and what 'proofs" are required for a guilty verdict................OJ was found guilty in the civil lawsuit.........Even though people do or do not agree with the first trial........one cannot pick and choose results..........As to Riccio, you stated that he should be in jail for "setting up" OJ...........Planning a set up is not a crime........getting the "mark" to follow thru is the hard part................OJ did not have to go to that hotel room...........let me repeat...............OJ did not have to go to that room.........much less bring 4 other men and two firearms, or take too much stuff that was not his..............And how was OJ going to prove which football was his..............Six footballs layijng on the hotel bed......all autographed........which one belongs to OJ........Well, just take them all..............No, he should have called the police.................see where this is going?............This hotel episode showed that OJ is just not very bright..............He broke 7 to 10 different laws by going into that hotel room.............It will be interesting to see just how the DA handles this............It can obviously go either way...........I believe OJ will do time on this one...........He should,..........

228. ............................Hello SLBenzo @ 1:22pm Oct.5th..................The last of your post states that OJ should be left alone and that non-supporters should show respect for the jury system..........well, I am not sure that showing respect for the system, is what you intended.............Accepting the results is what society has to do.........regardless of personal beliefs..................And if that is true..........then society has to accept the results of the 2nd trial, the Civil Lawsuit............As you well know?...... this is not double jeapordy............I would assume that the Goldman's ARE dissapointed with the DA's office as to the results of the 1st trial............However, they do not have to let it go if they so desire................The law provides another route, in search of justice...............Goldman could have gone out and shot OJ due to his grief and or anger................due to his own belief that OJ was responsible...............But the only legal method available, is the Civil Lawsuit.............in which OJ was found guilty and sentenced to pay X amount of renumeration.................So, one would have to ask.............Is OJ breaking the law by hiding funds, real estate, items of high value?........Yes.......I am sure there is a $ amount, on each item, that governs the confiscation rule.............OJ keeps his home and pension fund and some other itmes of value........................Bottomline?.............................Goldman should stay after OJ.........because we, society, have to accept the results of the jury system, regardless of personal beliefs..................
